  10. Always a good friend and a mentor. I have known Alan since joining Boronia in 1968. Kept in regular contact when he went to Bayswater to start up the brigade there and he came back to Boronia as Day firey in 1973. He came back to Boronia as an SO and stayed with us until he retired. He remained very active with Bayswater since he retired from the staff. He always offered a friendly greeting and would talk about the old days.
    Always will be sadly missed.
    RIP Honky.
