Alan was a wonderful person and a distinguished veteran and member of our community. I was honoured to be a fellow member of the Rotary Club of Frankston with him, and to have have joined his 100th birthday celebrations a few months ago. Condolences to all his family and friends at this time. RIP Alan
A beautiful tribute to my dearest Uncle Alan. So many happy memories. We loved to be part of the memorial service from far away Perth. Love to all.

A beautiful celebration of Alan’s amazing century on this earth. To only but dream that all Australians followed the example of an icon. Thankyou. A man I only new for a decade unfortunately, a true hero. Garry and Lyn Robilliard Ballarat.
A beautiful service for a man who has left his mark on this world. A strong and ‘get things done’ gentleman who fought for his nation and fulfilled so many dreams, made so many friends and inspired so many. To the whole family, thank you for taking me on a journey through his life with you today. A memorial service I am so proud to have watched. Love to you all. Jan Thompson
