  1. Dear Claire Geoff and Craig
What a lovely send off for your father. He would have been so pleased with it. ken and I enjoyed going into Melbourne every New Years Eve with your Mum and Dad. I have many found memories of those times. Your father would often be at the back of the shop talking with Ken and i over one thing or an other.
Thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

  3. A kind friend who will be sadly missed but not forgotten. I first meet the Fraser’s when Geoffrey started in my Prep grade and have lovely memories of a fine year. We walked the whole class up the Highway to fish in their dam – not something to be considered these days! Over the years we have shared many wonderful experiences – including regular wine and cheese nights. Alex always updated us proudly on the happenings of his family.. Thinking of you all.

  6. A moving tribute to a terrific bloke. He would be as proud of you all as you are of him A life well lived. Cecily Clarke will probably not see this video but I know she would echo these sentiments. Alec and Joe shared fishing and celebrating a good catch….or not. Many meals and good times shared.

  7. Claire, Geoff, Craig and families sorry to her the news but what a great send off it was a great service. I will never forget two years ago Alec and I sitting on a hay bale on your farm talking in general while hay making.

  8. Dear Family,

It is with great sadness that I write this message to you all.

We moved to Seville from Melbourne when Julie took up a teaching position at Seville Primary School. Geoffrey was in her Prep grade in 1972. We moved from the big smoke knowing nothing about rural life but Alex and Claire took us under their wing and we remained friends all those years. We watched the boys grow up into fine young men, find partners of their own and commence their own families.

Alex had a profound effect on both our children too. They looked up to him and were very sad to hear of his passing. Sophie had some funny memories that I will share with you another time.

Alex was my best local friend and I will miss him greatly.

  14. Dear Clare, Geoff and Craig, what a beautiful service. You both did a beautiful job. The music was perfect. We were very impressed with the magnificent, colourful coffin, totally appropriate to the life he lived and loved. I know you used to Pink Floyd Geoff, that was a nice touch. It’s a tough day – know we are with you in spirit, and as soon as we are able to, we will visit your Dad. We saw him off with a sip of Chateau Yering Shiraz Voignier. Cheers to your wonderful Dad xxxx
