Watching all your beautiful family today I realised that I had only maybe met one or two but over the years heard many many stories of you.
Alison and I met in1959 at the Lansell Road Occupational Therapy School. Her friends from Korowa and the non OT ones became part of a close knit group on and off over the years. Especially. for me Cherry and Sandy.

I visited Cherry in her Aged Care place. It was quite nice and I think she was quite content. Al and I had lunch with Fiona Rowland who has born the brunt of family tragedies.
We were fortunate to see Sandra at a 60th school lunch in 2018.

Very sorry that Alison has passed away and that she was so sick. I have known her since early school days at Korowa. We kept in touch after leaving school and visited Alison and family at Humula, of which we have two photo’s. One photo was of Kathleen on her horse. She was very hospitable and made us quiches for lunch. We were very good friends with Alison’s mother attending St Oswald’s church Glen Iris together.

Lovey tribute to an amazing lady. Even though we only got to know her for a short period of time I enjoyed the stories she told of a life well lived over a glass of wine.

Such happy memories with the beautiful Alison: OT, the painting trip, a visit to McCrae with her house so perfectly designed for her living requirements: all one level, the “grazing“ kitchen, the studio, and wonderful views, all with accomodation for the family to visit. This celebration of Alison’s life brought back many memories of our occupational therapy student and working years at the Alfred Hospital. New graduates working in mental health we shared diverse experiences. A stay at Humula was challenging and special.
