  1. Our condolences to all the members of the Tilley family: Leigh and I felt honoured to be able to view the wonderful service whilst holidaying in Bali. We have felt privileged to have known Bert having watched him play cricket along side my dad John and catching up at many cricketing functions over the years. Also as my children got into athletics we would often catch up with Bert at meets and Brad even having Leanna as one of his coaches. What a wonderful life Bert had and a long lasting legacy he has left behind. I am sure he has joined many of his cricketing friends who have past before him. EspeciallyJohn Yole and Fred Allsop will be there waiting.
    Love to Cathy and family

We are with you in spirit sending lots of love. What a wonderful tribute to Bert’s long life.

  4. Thank you for the opportunity to stream into the funeral from Western Australia. I have fond memories of Grandpa Bert’s visits to WA when I was younger. It was wonderful to hear about his life, sporting and coaching of young people in athletics.

  5. Hi Marcus,
So sorry for your loss mate. Sorry I couldn’t be there today at the service due to work commitments. I hope you find comfort in all the great memories you had with the great Bertram. He was an inspiration on and off the field and I was fortunate to have met him in person. May his soul rest in peace. Please know that my thoughts are with you during this difficult times ❤️
