Bridget and I hit it off immediately when we met almost a decade ago, her smile and sense of humour captivated me and we shared the same music tastes; we also struggled in similar ways and found comfort in the understanding of one another throughout the years of our friendship. We got up to a lot of mischief together in our 20’s, we were dancing buddies and loved going to Drum & Bass gigs together.
I have never seen her more proud than when her beautiful boys were born, and her love for Rueben and Foxx was so abundantly clear.
Bridget was exuberant and hilarious and mischievous, but she was also incredibly sensitive, compassionate, kind and generous. I feel honoured to have known her and called her a friend. I will miss her so dearly, my heart is absolutely broken by her loss.
My love goes out to her immediate and extended family, and to her close friends. I wish I could be there in person with you all today to send her off, I am so glad we have the technology to at least attend remotely and get the chance to say goodbye despite the pandemic.
