  4. A beautiful service, everyone spoke from the heart about what an amazing person Carol was. We were all very privileged to have know her.
We worked together at St Vincent’s Private, and Carol always took pride in her work, strived to delivery excellent care for her patients, delivered with a little twist of naughtiness. Which always put a smile on everyone’s face.
So sorry for your loss Gregory ( I can hear Carol saying Gregory) and family.

  5. Carol has always been a dear friend and member of the Thonard family – Renée, John, Merriwyn and Guy. Carol was more than Renée’s daughter-‘from’-law, she was truly her life long friend. Carol always called he Mum.
Dad and Renée would visit Melbourne frequently and the trip always involved Carol and Greg. When in SA Carol and Greg spent many happy times at Wharoa with Renée and John.
Carol and I would “do lunch”. It was always great fun. She had loved her life, and her job, friends, family, interests, and travels. Most of all she loved Greg. of course all loved her right back.
When Renee passed away Carol told me that she was hoping to come to Wharoa soon to plant a rose for Renee. Tragically that never happened – all of us always expect to have more time.

    Dear Greg,
I will plant a rose in Renée’s garden for Carol. I’m sure Carol and Renée will approve.
    With love, Merriwyn and Peter

  9. A most fitting and uplifting Farewell following the very tragic loss of a friend taken way too soon. Carol was an Inspiration to all who had the privilege of sharing her friendship throughout her life, with Happiness personified from the day that she became Mrs Carol French with the true Love of her life, Gregory.
A happy, proud, ambitious, and successful Lady who has left an indelible mark, and will never be forgotten.

    Rest in Peace.
