  1. Yes, Mary was one of those centre stage characters who enriched all who touched or shared their life. It meant a lot to me, a recipient of Mary’s generosity and a sharer in two of her later visits to England, to be able to join in your celebration of her life. Thank you. Hilary Stacey

  2. What a wonderfully relaxed and comfortable way to celebrate Mary’s life. So much nicer than in a cold chapel. Mary would have approved. Thank you for sharing this special moment with us all who sadly couldn’t be there.
I view Mary as the Matriarch of the family. She maintained the contact between us all, as the best Networker that I have ever known. This was so vitally important as we are all spread around the globe. She will be very much missed.
Well done for holding it together Tony when you informed us all of so much about your mum that we either didn’t know or had forgotten. Thank you for mentioning us all here in the UK. We would have wanted to be there with you and Linda. Alas, virtual hugs will have to suffice. Love to all of you over there. My thoughts are with you all at this time and always. XX

  3. That was a lovely service and I feel very privileged to have been able to have watched it live from here in England.
Mary was indeed a remarkable person and it is certainly true that she touched so many people’s lives.
I loved Tony’s eulogy which told me so much more than I already knew of my second(?) cousin who led such a full and busy life. She shared time with my sister Marion and between the two of them they started us on the trail of the Tucker family tree where I acted merely as a scribe !
We can all be thankful for being part of Mary’s life, my thoughts are very much with you at this time.
    Much love and best wishes.

  4. What a lovely tribute to your Mom, Tony and Linda.
My mom Marion Holmes, Bob Tucker’s sister, always spoke fondly of her cousins Mary and Betty. Mom was born in Harefield too. When mom and I, went on a holiday to the UK in 2006 Bob set up a very enjoyable meal at a local pub. It was so nice to meet the relatives I had heard so much about.
