I was able to view Carrolls’ Service this morning. Such a wonderful tribute to a great man and a life well lived with such beautiful memories for the family to cherish.

Dear Chris and Family
A great send off for our great friend of some 30 plus years, I can still see him sitting there at the head of the table with his glass of red and that smile on his face and glasses perched on his nose, discussing the races, horses, events and all sorts of other topics we wandered through on nights at dinner at the Majors. I also recall my last visit to that table when you gave me that lovely goodbye and Carroll had some wise words to impart in my ear. Bless him. Always remembered in our family as a true friend and listener, Vale dear Carroll. Our sympathy goes with you all on your loss of him. Lynne, Pete, Sam and Dan

Today was a beautiful tribute to Carroll. It was wonderful to hear his story from his family. So many wonderful memories we all share of Carroll.

We were sad to hear of Carroll’s passing, a larger than life character we were honoured to know and with whom we were associated in so many varied activities and ventures in the old Swan Hill days. Although many of us have moved on since those days, they will always hold a special place in our shared memories.
Our best wishes to all of you at this sad time.
