  1. Thank-you for sharing these wonderful memories. The service was a beautiful celebration of Catherine’s life. She touched so many people and helped so many in both their personal and professional lives.
My earliest memory of Catherine was when I started work at the SFSL (forensics) as a graduate. She was welcoming, kind and willing to impart her knowledge and experience to the newbie. Catherine left shortly after I started to have Rebecca and move to Malaysia but I was fortunate to work closely with her when she returned years later. We stayed in touch after she left and caught up for lunch and dinner from time to time which I always enjoyed but more recently due to her illness this became very difficult.
I always enjoyed the stories Catherine shared about her family and friends. She was especially proud of Rebecca and Amy who both grew up to be lovely and accomplished daughters, mothers and women in their rights.
I have many fond memories of Catherine as both a colleague and friend which I will cherish always.

  5. To Catherine’s Family and Friends,

I worked with Catherine for approximately 5 years at Forensic. Catherine had worked at Forensic before. Not long after starting work together, she became a fun and supportive friend. I was 5 years younger and not long out of university, she had professional experience and life experience. When I got married and also had two girls of my own, she would bring Rebecca and Amy’s old toys in for Eliza and Madeline. Eliza and Madeline were so happy to have toys that had belonged to older girls. We had many fun times together. I have fond memories of her beautiful smile and bubbly personality. Our thoughts are with all of Catherine’s family and friends.

    Sincerely,

    Sandra, Damien, Eliza and Madeline
