  1. Well my mate of nearly forty years
Friendship .What I will miss are our many, many phone calls over the years. He will be greatly missed at or Old Boys Reunions each year. Every one will miss your mad sense of humour. Once you met Charlie and he liked you, you were his friend forever. For a small man in stature, he was a giant in life. Good bye my friend,
    Your Mate, Dennis.

  2. A Beautiful service for a truly Beautiful, Courageous and Special man. Sending all of my love to Uncle Charlie and Family.
Safely home in God’s loving arms, born to eternal life, always remembered, always loved, always missed. A Beautiful Angel in Heaven who I know will always be by his family’s side now and forever ⚘

  7. Our thoughts and best wishes to the family on this sad occasion. Charlie the Ratbag was always highly thought of as an old boy by staff at Christian College Geelong. His cheeky laugh will always be remembered.

Remembering Charlie’s tireless work of advocacy and speaking out on behalf of Forgotten Australians. Remembering lots of conversations over the years. Charlie, you were a gift to us all and you will always be remembered. Jenny Glare

I will miss our phone chats and the laughter we shared, gosh you were funny, as they say laughter is the best medicine, well after getting off the phone with you, I would spend the rest of the day laughing, you were good for the soul.
