  1. Thank you for inviting us to share with you such a wonderful tribute to Charlotte, you spoke so well Elly. I didn’t realise how lucky I was when I arrived to work on the farm all thoses years ago.

Doug and Charlotte made me so welcome it was like home from home. I look back on thoses memories fondly, both on the farm and in England. Charlotte was such a special lady so warm and wise I feel very lucky to have met her.

  4. Our love and prayers are with you Elly, Rhonda, Alison and Ross and your spouses and children and grandchildren. Death is a graduation ceremony for those who die forgiven in Christ as Charlotte doubtless has, and we look forward to seeing her again some day when we depart this life for eternity. In his last days on earth Doug spoke with Charlotte of a vision of the heavenly city and we believe they are now reunited in the land that is brighter than day. What a glorious certain expectation we share! This is the hope of the gospel. We share with the many others who have been blessed and encouraged by Charlotte’s kindness. Well done with the beautiful celebration of Charlotte’s life!

  25. Thinking of you all at this difficult time. Such a lovely service and I wish I was able to be there in person. Love hearing about the family history and I’m proud to be a Raff continuing the connection with Phillip Island and South Gippsland. Watching the service from my apartment in Balwyn, just down the road from my Grandad Iain Raff’s house where my mum and her siblings grew up. Looking forward to seeing you all in happier times and reminiscing and sharing stories over a recreation of the famed apple cake. Much love to you all.

  27. Hello dear cousins, thinking of you on this day in memory of Auntie Charlotte. Growing up, she was always a feature at our family events, happy to be connecting with family and asking how everyone was getting on. Auntie Charlotte was always so warm and loving and I appreciate how she made us all feel welcome and included. Those memories will stay with us forever. My thoughts and support are with you at this difficult time.
