  2. Dear Jeff & family, Thank you for enabling us to join you “in spirit” as you remembered Chris, honoured & celebrated her life so movingly. You all spoke beautifully & shared your memories so generously that we do feel we got to know her better. You were all clearly loved as she was deservingly so in return. We will miss her smiling face and lovely warm presence at family gatherings. Our thoughts are with you; our hearts go out to you Love John & Freda

  3. What a beautiful tribute to Chris and the influence she has been on all of your lives. It’s not an easy thing to do, speak of the loss of your Mum, but you each did it so beautifully and she would be very proud of you!
It was so lovely to see each of you again after some time and hear of your marriages, engagement and children. I’m sure we are not alone Sean in also wondering why you are still single 🙂 Such a lovely young man. Your calm manner and love and support of Danny as he spoke was beautiful.

It was lovely to hear from different family members and friends and hear their stories and learn more about Chris! Loved the car stories!

Chris’ love of children was evident and my Daughter Bella remembers Chris greeting her after Church one day with the words from ‘Alice in Wonderland’ saying ‘ How do you do and shake hands, shake hands, shake hands. How do you do and shake hands. State your name and business’ – holding her hand out to shake belle’s. Bella didn’t know the movie at the time, but it made her feel special! Such was Chris’ way with children.

What a lovely show of support from Jeffs work mates in the trucks following the hearse! It was very special!

    Love to you all,

    Suzy and bella Xoxo

  11. Dear Jeff and family,
Thank you for enabling us to watch the service for Christine.
We grieve with you at Chris’ home call, but offer comfort and strength in Christ’s declaration that He has gone ahead to prepare a place for us, and will come again and receive us to Himself, so that where He is, we may also be gathered. (John 14)
From watching the beautiful celebration of Chris’ life, we see that she is very much with you all. She has left part of herself in each of you. This is a treasure to hold onto, until you are all united in Him.
Our love and prayers are with you all. Valerie and Phillip.

  20. What a beautiful service. I feel privileged that our families have been able to journey through this life together. Thank you Chris for the laughter and tears, the wedding cake you made for my wedding, and the leggings you whipped up on a whim for me as a child one afternoon: one pair a sensible, practical bone colour, the other a garishly flamboyant crazy daisy print that was on sale.

Your strength and love shone like a beacon through your beautiful children today, and I know will continue to shine through as they carry you with them in their hearts.

Sending all my love and prayers,

    “Anna”

  21. I met Chris on the first day of school at Boneo. She was a breath of fresh air. Such a bubbly, energetic and interesting person. We talked in the car park for at least an hour. I remember thinking I’ve only just met this person but it feels like I’ve known her forever. I am so grateful for the kindness and generosity Chris showed me and my family. I trusted her completely. I will never forget her exuberant and infectious laugh, her energy, her generosity and her devotion to her family, the way she enfolded others in her love and life.
Our love and prayers go out to you all at this very sad time.
