  12. Dear Margaret, Jim, Matthew, Jenny, Tom, Natalie, Alex and friends and family of Chris,

Although we were unable to honour Chris’ passing with you all in person, we are glad to have been able to do so from afar.

I only spent time with Chris on a half-dozen or so occasions — through my friendship with Matthew. Despite this, I knew him to be generous, warm, gentle and kind.

Thinking of you all as you celebrate the life of a brilliant young man, taken too soon.

    With heartfelt sympathy,

    Raoul and Modupeh Renard

  23. With all love from London – Chris was, and is, a central figure in our university days from Edinburgh, and I am so glad that our friendship kept going despite such a great distance. We will remember him and his sense of adventure always, and try and keep some of his spirit in everything we do!

  24. Our Heartfelt sympathy to all the
Psycharis family. Thankyou for sharing your beautiful service for Chris.

  25. A beautiful tribute to a remarkable young man filled with goodness and raised in love. I attended online today on behalf of my son Jack Solomon who was in Chris and Alex’s year at Carey and now lives in Paris. He used to refer to Chris fondly as Crispy and when I asked which one he was, he told me “the one with the baby face”. Our hearts go out to you, gone too soon and so sadly missed, but so incredibly joyfully and thankfully remembered. An amazing life brimming with potential and endless experiences lived. Wishing you gentler times ahead, where current sadness is gradually replaced by the many treasured memories and gifts Chris has left behind. Our love and deepest sympathy, Linda and Martin

Jack requested I pass on these reflections which he texted through to me late last night

“Chris, a kind gentle soul who was always quick to lend a hand. Your quick wit and intellect led to many fun debates that I will treasure forever. A steadfast figure of my childhood, you will be missed”

  26. Thank you Margaret and Jim for the opportunity to grieve with you the loss of Chris. A rare beautiful humble soul. Sending you love and strength and prayers
