I will see you in the skies above. You meant so much to all of us. If I can be one
tenth of the man that you were, I would be proud. Spending time with you was a
true privilege. Your contagious laughter and your indiscriminate kindness to all
will never be forgotten. May you Rest In Peace, a true gentleman indeed.❤️

Condolences to the family, apologies that I couldn’t attend, nor watch the live stream yesterday. Joch was a great man and a sound influence on my early time in the Army. Joch will be missed by many current and former members of the RAE. Lest we forget

What a beautiful service for a beautiful man. Jock was one of a kind, an honest man who had the courage of conviction to always do the right thing. He was a good friend, a valued mentor and was respected by superiors and subordinates alike. Jock was a great Combat Engineer and it was my absolute pleasure to have worked with him. RIP Mate
Dear Irena and Zara, condolences at this difficult time. Sincere apologies for not being able to attend the celebration of Jock’s life in person. As you know, I had the honour of meeting Jock during his defence service and the great privilege to have him as my friend. Jock taught me a lot about patience, understanding and empathy. I did one of those para jumps with him where I left the aircraft before him but he landed first, that reflection in the service made me smile. Jock lived a great life and left an enduring legacy. Jock is loved and respected by so many. Rest In Peace mate. Love always Dave. UBIQUE!
What a great loss. It has been pleasurable knowing Clyde and working with him as a drug and alcohol counselor at Primary Care Connect. Many discussion re: Dr Who, the food served at Luttfyes and sometimes about our clients… Condolences to all
Thank you Jock (Big Budgie), for the time we shared as members of 8 ASC, UNMCTT in Pakistan and Afghanistan. I will always remember you as my friend.
Thank Irene and family for allowing me to be a part of Jocks service today, albeit from afar.
Kind regards

Beautiful service. My condolences to Clyde’s family xx
I worked with Clyde at Salvocare in the Outreach program, he started a couple of weeks before I did. We of course hit it off straight away, but we really got to enjoy working together when we shared the workload for Mansfield. We spent many hours working on the Stepping Stones program with Vinnies and the Mansfield Shire council, building a referral pathway for people who were homeless. I tried to contact the ladies at Vinnies to let them know of Clyde’s passing as they were truly fond of him and his big heart. We were a bit of a powerhouse team over there and I know they loved the work we were able to achieve.
Clyde was a gentle giant with an absolute heart of gold, and we shared many laughs and a mutual dislike for case notes and the red tape that comes along with working in funded programs! We often compared who was further behind in case notes and assistances, he mostly won! I still have the cup he brought me back from one of his outback adventures, it was special then but a little bit more now!
He was a wonderful worker and his desire to just purely help people was inspirational, he was a true care giver and we shared a common bond to assist those in need, albeit with a few headaches along the way.
No doubt, he was a true gentleman and I was extremely saddened to hear of his passing. I wished I’d known he was unwell so I could have visited, but it wasn’t to be. I shall remember him with great fondness, friendship and love. An angel returned to heaven xx
Goodbye Jock, I will always remember your visits and big hugs, with love and affection.
Sending my love to you Ireana and family.
Hoping to meet again,
Susan
Deepest Sympathy for the sad loss of a wonderful neighbour and a friend to all.
Memories of you will always live on in Avenel and in our hearts.
What a lovely and moving service. Jock was a great mate in all the true meaning. I 1st met him in 1981 in Townsville and We were posted to the same unit on several occasions. Our connection in things Landrover and four wheel driving and camping built a life long friendship. Many trips and adventures away into the Australian outback will stay with me. I will never forget his deep laugh!
He will be missed.

Condolences to Irena, Zara, Karl and family. This was such a beautiful service and for me it really typified his sense of family and community. I am really grateful for you arranging for the service to be streamed online as I dearly wanted to attend in person to pay my respects, but was unable to.
Zara and Karl, thank you for your words of rememberance. Although we have never met, they really struck a chord with me, resonating with my own memories of Clyde, driving home the earnestness and authenticity of his spirit, not to mention the sense of humour, that I remember. Thank you for this.
I worked with Clyde in the APY lands as an Indigenous Protected Area coordinator and feel so privleged to have met and worked with him, and to call him a friend. While we worked together, we were based in different communities over 300km away, but this didn’t stop us from developing a strong sense of comradarie and mutual respect and it was always a joy when we were able to spend time together in person, an occasion I always looked forward to and cherished. He was a man larger than life, with a huge heart, sense of justice and a beautiful generous nature. While we only worked together for a short time, he left a huge impression on me and I will miss him dearly. Wishing much love to you all, Pete.
Till we meet again

It was a great pleasure knowing Clyde and working along side him at BeyondHousing, there was never a dull moment with him around, always keeping us on our toes and stealing all the biscuits from the barrel with a cheeky grin.
