  1. Col, as your neighbour for almost 30 yrs, I couldn’t have asked for a better neighbour next to me, my wife and my 2 boys.Col started bringing over a Christmas present for the family every year & it became
a contest to see who could knock on each others front door first before the other. As nick says that’s how generous col was.
Also col being interested in cars, he would come over & talk to my 2 sons who have hotted up cars, turbos & the like, which I think he really enjoyed, especially with the cars both been fords.
Anyway col, rest in piece, my friend.

  2. Dear Lois, Eloise, Nick, Jeynelle, Harvey and Havannah, I was really touched to watch Colin’s funeral service on this cold and wet Saturday afternoon. It was a very moving tribute to him. Eloise the reading was lovely and Nick you did a great job delivering his eulogy, I know how difficult that is. It was lovely to hear stories about his life and through all the special photos, his love for his family was so evident. You will miss him so much are all in our thoughts. Love Jenine, Richard, Jarrod, Ryan, Nathan, Samantha and Hugo.

  3. God bless Colin, may he Rest In Peace.
Colin will be sadly missed as apart of our extended family.
He was always so kind and eager to lend a hand. Nothing was impossible to do.
His great sense of humour, generosity, loyalty, stoic nature made him the likeable character he was.
We enjoyed a beer with Colin at many family functions or on weekends just being apart of the gang.
Ella and Wil express their sadness too, as Colin always engaged them in conversation taking a keen interest in what they were up to.

Colin will be remembered in our thoughts and his fond life stories I’m sure will be retold many times over at the dinner table with my children and his grandchildren!

Colin’s send off was so perfect –
he would have loved that car
(he would still be talking about it now!)
Love Karina, Arty, Ella and Wil Arter xxxx

  4. Dear Lois, Eloise, Nick Jeynelle Harvey and Havannah,
I watched Col’s funeral service tonight, such a beautiful and fitting tribute to him. He would have been very proud of you both Nick and Eloise. You did a beautiful job, one that is certainly not easy. Col shared a birthday with mum and I know right up until she died they would ring each year to wish each other a happy birthday. I may not have shared his taste in music, but he did barrack for the right footy team.
I know you will all miss him terribly. Thinking of you all.
With love Leesa Greg Luke Ben and Nick.
