  5. Vale Dale Ryan. I studied at Podiatry school with Dale with fond memories of our friendship. He didn’t make much of a podiatrist – thankfully he was good at basketball! Great bloke who will be missed by his uni mates. Heartfelt condolences to his family.

  6. Oh Daisy, we said goodbye so many times over the years.
But we always meant ‘see you later’.
And we did see each other later, never quite sure when or where, but we did. I can’t believe I won’t see you later.
We followed each other around the world and joked that we couldn’t go anywhere without the other close behind. I feel like it was our turn to follow you back to Australia since we didn’t get a chance to see you in Spain, though we planned to. How I wish we had been able to make that trip.

I can’t believe we won’t get to meet up somewhere random again, and talk like we never left. I will miss hearing all your latest wild schemes and adventures, laughing and putting the world to right.

I just can’t believe that is our last goodbye. It’s too soon.

I cherished your friendship, your positivity, your kindness and care over the many years I was lucky enough to call you a friend. I appreciated you reaching out to me during your last few months at a time when we were both struggling. Your message, like you, was full of warmth and positivity and I will carry many of your wise words with me through the rest of my life. I just wish I could have said or done something to help you hold on.
The world has lost a true legend.
You will live on in my heart and the hearts of so many others whose lives you touched.
Thank you to your family for the beautiful service today. I watched it as the sun rose and Lake Geneva glistened in the background, reminding me of the beauty of life, that you embraced like no-one else I have ever known. I hope you find eternal rest, dear Daisy, thank you for sharing your light with me and so many others.
With so much love and gratitude, always
    Beck xo
