  1. Del, thank you for everything you did for your girls working at AGM.
(which I was one) Great boss & mentor. Such good memories. Sincere Condolences to Colin. June Webster & all the Webster family xx

  2. Del is unique and one of a kind and Bacchus Marsh to the core. What a wonderful sendoff to her and her life’s work within the community, her union members and the Party as well as her family whom she cherished.
Del will be sorely missed, especially her wise words and confidential conversations with whoever sat with her around the kitchen table or in the lounge room being overheard by Mungo!
The Party has lost a true believer but heaven has gained a true battler for the workers. She’ll be reunited with her beloved daughter Vicky.
My sincere condolences to Del’s family and loyal friends.

  5. Del was a great mentor of mine. As a 14 year old lad, Ralph Patman employed me in the school holidays at the local plastic factory in Bacchus Marsh. Del was the forelady there and she took me under her wing and looked after me. We remained friends ever since as she lived across the road from my Aunty Joan Sylvia so I would see her often. In 2009 I was lucky enough to bump into Del at the doctors surgery in Darley when visiting Bacchus Marsh on my way home to Perth and I took the time to say gidday and to thank her for her support and help all those years ago, around 1976 when we worked together, she was a lovely vibrant person and such an assett to the community of Bacchus Marsh and the eulogy given by her two beautiful granddaughters was touching, heartfelt and wonderful. RIP Del. I will never ever forget you and your lovely smile.

  9. Dear Del, I will miss you at church your sparkling smile I would look at you to say hello and it was like bing and you would ask “how are you me dear?” I always loved to see you at church on Wednesday’s after church chats and a cuppa and we would all make sure Dels chair was there.
