  1. Our deep condolences to Simone and all the family. Des was a generous and kind friend to my parents Desmond and Hyacinth Andrews (both deceased) who they met through St Edwards Church. Des and my mum shared a love of jazz music and my dad loved Simone’s delicious meals, kindly home delivered while my mum was in hospital. Keeping Simone’s in our prayers. Xx

  2. We have fond memories of Desmond when we used to meet at Eugene & Betty Joseph’s place in Balwyn. Yes, the singing went on till the early hours of the morning and everyone present could barely walk. They were good times and yes, we will miss Desmond. Please accept our condolences to all his children, grandchildren and his Great grandchild. Not forgetting Simone who we hope is well. God Bless You All. Sincerely, Everard & Dagmar Hoffman

  3. Bless Des on his journey now – what a wonderful legacy he has left of a loving, United family. Well done and God bless beautiful Simone, such a treasure and example of kindness, joy and love. ❤️❤️
