Marieta Wauthier, Editha’s sister says
I am so sorry that I was not able to attend this beautiful service for Editha and to pass on my condolences to John, Ray, Craig, Mandy and their families in person.
Frank’s Tribute and Lutz’s (which was read by Sylvia) were beautiful and had me in tears and Mel’s poem written for her mother in law caused them to flow more.
Editha was a wonderful, extremely smart and talented person with a lot of interest. Her success in golfing got me started in this sport, but, unlike Editha, I was not even close to winning a golden putter. Although I was not there, I felt very much part of the service honouring Editha and her life that we were allowed to be a part of.
Editha, I won’t say goodbye, rather farewell till we meet again to make plans for joint adventures.
Dear John, although it will be hard, be strong like your most a mazing wife was.
Your family and extended family love you dearly and will always be there for you.
Much love – Marieta and Fritz
Thank you for a beautiful service, out hearts go out to John, Mandy, Ray, Craig and the extended family. It breaks our heart that we were not able to attend and share the celebration of Editha’s life In person.
Thank you Sylvia for the challenging task of reading my tribute with out having the opportunity to acquaint yourself with its contents, thanks Frank for putting together a wonderful snapshot of a life well lived and gone too soon. I felt the special bond reflected in the words of the poem that was so beautifully written by Mel for this solemn occassion. We may not be there in person but we are most definitely there in spirit. Take care everyone , Love Lutz & Sharen
Such a beautiful service fitting for such a beautiful woman. My heart goes out to her family left behind, please know I am thinking of you all in these difficult times. I have very fond memories of my times with Aunty Editha, but what will stay with me the most is the feeling of love and warmth you had in her presence. No Preusche christmas will ever be the same without our Christmas matriarch ❤️
Sending lots of love to all, I am so sorry I was unable to attend in person but am so honoured to have been able to watch the service on-line. Editha was a beautiful person, a wonderful friend and I will miss her. Our family have so many special memories of our times with Editha & John and family over many years and we treasure them all. Dear John and family,
Thank you so much for everything you and Editha did for me when I was young.
Thinking of you and Editha who was always so kind.
Sending love.
