Nothing and no one could ever fill the empty space Eileen leaves behind but the legacy of her love and courage will live long in your memories. I have many happy memories of our lives in the UK, some of which are better left unsaid, however I will always remember my big sister who always seemed to be afraid of nothing and no one. To take the step to emigrate at a young age with 3 young children puts her in the same Catagory as the pioneers of old who who first stepped foot in Australia centuries ago. She strived to build a life and succeeded, not only in the material sense but in the sense of building something much more precious than gold or diamonds or wealth of any kind. What she succeeded in doing was building a close knit family who stick together through thick and thin which is something that most of us strive for and often fail in. My heart and love goes out to you all May she rest in peace and may you all carry on her legacy of never give in fight to the end and stick together no matter what.
