  1. A beautiful service to remember Elaine. In particular, her kind and generous heart, her beaming smile, and her infectious joy and laughter. I send my love to all her family and friends, who she loved so dearly.

Thank you for being part of my life, Elaine. May you rest in peace.

  2. Sad that we were in lockdown with only 10 people able to attend, yet the service was a fitting tribute to a beautiful soul, the mother of my darling departed Jane, and a lady of great charm and generosity.

Elaine was loved by all who shared her life, a lovely lady with a legion of friends. Mothers in law and sons in law are not supposed to get on, but Elaine was one in a million, and a dear friend.

  3. Yes we have all gained so much for knowing beautiful Elaine. Although we all couldn’t be there to farewell Elaine and celebrate her life here, Elaine is forever in Eternity celebrating God’s Glory.
Sincere sympathy to all her family and dear friends.

  4. What a privilege to be able to be and feel apart of our darling Elaine’s service. Thank you John, it was very special indeed, as she herself was. Very much missed already. Our thoughts are with you and your extended family. Love Essie and family.

  5. What a wonderful lady, and I feel blessed to have known Elaine. May God be especially with her family and close friends, in their moments of sadness.

  6. Holding close some treasured memories of barging together in 2008, and your kindness, compassion and thoughtfulness. My love to all of your dear family and close friends, especially to John, Symphony, Jo and my dad Michael.
Your example of deep care, resilience, faith and fun will not be forgotten. I can still hear your laughter, and it brings me some comfort on this very sad day.
    Thank you Elaine.
    Much love, Carmen

  7. Dear Elaine will always be remembered by me as welcoming and warm with a bright smile when I first came to worship the Lord at Oaktree, St. Mary’s. I am so sad that I shall not see you again in this life, but we shall meet again in the presence of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus. It was a blessing to have known you, Elaine, and I thank God for your life and faithfulness.

  8. It is with great sadness to farewell our very very longtime friend Dear Elaine. At St Mary’s our family shared so many happy fun times with Elaine during good and tough times, but she was always a bright and happy very engaging person who enjoyed a Red wine, chat , laugh, travel and greatly cared, shared , enjoyed and supported Jane and John thru their lives. A great carer and supporter of so many. You will be greatly missed. Sincere condolences to John and Michael. Rest in Peace with our Lord. Peter Hurst and Family.
