When I first met Ethel it was exactly as people were saying at her beautiful service. She went out of her way to chat and make people welcome. Ethel had a gift with this. I was really drawn to Ethel from the very first time I met her, which is why she had a special place in my heart. These times were 45+ year’s ago and I still remember very clearly her warmth and kindness.
I’m glad her farewell was a lovely celebration of her life and wow 92 year’s!!
I really feel for Susan and Helen they will miss her terribly, as will there sibling’s and extended family and friends. It’s extremely difficult losing a parent. You made your mum proud, I could have listened to the stories about Ethel’s life all day! Ethel your family and friends will always cherish your memories and continue to tell there favourite stories about you.
Rest in peace Ethel.
