I feel privileged to have lived next door to Filomena for near 20 years. She always stop and say “hello” and want to know how you are, what you were doing.
My favourite memories I have of her: she’d be doing the gardening in almost any heat in summer time keeping her lawn pristine including constantly refusing (politely of course) for me to now her lawn when I was already mowing mum and dads.
She was thrilled when I introduced my kids to her.
To the family, Filomena was a beautiful person and a wonderful neighbour kind, generous and loving. I’m going to miss seeing her potter around in the garden and the surprise on her face when I’d visit my folks with her arms open expecting a big warm hug.
Sending you all light and love. May the love of your family and friends hold you during this time and always.
