After watching the service online, if you can leave a guest message to let the family know you have joined into the service, that would be greatly appreciated.
Shakespeare once wrote “The evil that men do lives after them, the good is interned in their bones”
I am certain that Fr.Cormac has now had his eyes wide opened to the moral situations that he wrote about with such certitude.

Cormac-
Your funeral Mass was worthy of you: dignified, very prayerful and humble yet celebratory of enormous achievement that neither Ferdy nor Conrad Winston can have ever have foreseen. That Melbourne day repeating Robertson weather farewelled you aptly.
Thank you for living your life of love. Tom Byrnes
A beautiful ceremony. So glad I was able to stream it. It was lovely to learn so much more about mum’s cousin of whom she held in such high regard. So glad he has written about his life and hope I get the opportunity to read about it.

Cormac has been part of my family’s life for fifty years. He was a dedicated and loyal priest, a gentle and beautiful friar and a constant and much appreciated friend. Maria Ang nee Casamento.
Father Cormac, Malcolm, was my cousin of the same age. After my father’s death when I was 10 years old, I spent my early school years living with Malcolm and his family at Ashgrove, Brisbane.
Over the years we continued to see each other regularly on his visits to Sydney. My mother Glessie was a second mother to him.
In our adult years, Malcolm was my good friend and spiritual confidant. We disagreed on many subjects but always respected and loved each other.
Malcolm was a special man, modest, humble and supportive and I shall miss him.

To Fr Cormac
Thank you for your unfailing kindness and for your support, guidance and friendship over the almost 30 years we were both at Mercy Hospital for Women. I treasure the time we shared together on the Ethics Committee. I will remember always your beautiful, rare and precious gift of being able to speak in a way that was both profound and at the same time utterly simple. I think everyone at Mercy was enriched and nourished by your profound insights and equally by your kind, compassionate and unassuming presence
Rest in peace..
My name is Claudine. I met Cormac in Rome in 1988 and we’ve been friends since the first day.
I have learnt a lot from him and in particular that “love is all that matters”.
He is the only person I know who was not afraid of dying. He allowed me to realize how close and simple God is.
Over these many years, Cormac came to know my family and my close friends. All loved him.
Today, (rather tonight) we are connected from overseas (France, Portugal, USA) to say good bye to him. We feel sad and lonely. But we also share the hope he has found what he most longed for.
We cannot hug him any more: God can.
I’d like to express my sympathy to all of you (in particular you whom I have met in Australia and with whom I have so good memories). You – his family, friars and friends – were so important for him.
At this time of great loss, may we remember all the good things we have shared with Cormac and keep moving on the path as he would want us to. Simply and taking care of one another.
To conclude, I am so grateful I was able – no matter the distance – to sing the Schubert Ave Maria for Cormac during this very moving celebration. Thank you very much to Br. Matthew who made this possible.
The franciscans friars in Singapore are indebted to Cormac for his constant care, courageous vision and pastoral discernment…
You will be missed, Cor… and it was so good catching up with you at the last Chapter. Enjoy the heavenly feast with our God!
My heart has been warmed by this beautiful service and celebration of Father Cormac’s life and passing into deep union with God and his divine nature.
I have grown up with Father Cormac as a dear family friend to my Mum and Dad Jannine and Akie (Akie was once a Franciscan) I felt Cormac’s huge blessing in my life. He was once there for a dear friend in her time of great need and suffering and I will never forget the miracle of his presence at that time. Thank you dear Cormac. I felt valued and loved and respected when ever in your presence. May you be in eternal Bliss and I look forward to feeling your divine presence in my life here on earth.
Fr. Cormac was one of the first Friars I met. He was so kind and generous. I volunteered to work in the Bindary with Bro. George Boggs. Cormac would drive me to the station and give me my train fare. He will be greatly missed and may he rest in peace. His Franciscan spirit was evident and greatly appreciated. God bless him. Fr. Anthony Fox OFMConv.
Fr Cormac – Mercy Health will not be the same without you, as you are part of the fabric of Mercy. Thank you for your gracious and wise ethical leadership over so many years. Rest in peace.

Cormac lived his life as a devoted follower of Jesus in the spirit of our Founder, Francis. Pax et Bonum.
God Bless Fr Cormac. Thank you for your teaching, guidance and support for our family and families around you. Your kind nature is remembered always.
Very much appreciated the live stream, thank you.
Malcolm continues to be much loved, appreciated and missed.

A lovely service that I appreciated watching from Adelaide. I have fond memories of Cormac as a teacher.
Our prayers and support, from Greccio Friary, Singapore
Thank you so much for livestreaming this service, it was just lovely. Cormac will be sadly missed.
