A lovely tribute to Gordon. We met Gordon with ACT Today and relished his visits – such a personality and so many great sayings – we still quote Gordon today! The system he developed for us lives on and so will our fond memories of Gordon.
A sad day but grateful that I had the pleasure of knowing Gordon for most of my life. To Evie, Trish, Rob, Nick and Penel, lots of virtual hugs from over the border in SA.
Deepest Sympathy to Evie and family on the sad passing of Gordon. While we couldn’t attend in person it was a privilege to be able to share your farewell and tribute to him via internet. While Gordon only came into our lives during the last decade we always enjoyed time spent with him. Gail and Barry Briggs
Gordon was one of my best friends. We met through our mutual business, 40 years ago. He was entrepreneurial, funny, loved to travel and a real good soul. We accomplished so much and grew together. There were the never ending jokes including the regular corny ones we always asked him to tell again because he was so good at them; his actions,; laughing at the ending before he got there,; he was infectious and, Evie, you were so patient! An unforgettable and truly faithful husband, brother, father and luckily my friend. Go well ’til we meet again along The Yellow Brick Road. Goodbye mate.

Such amazing memories of Gordon’s smiling face from my youth and the pleasure of working with him on a few projects more recently – I will remember him fondly
A great life filled with so many memories.
In times of sorrow it is always difficult to say something that will ease the pain of the loss of a loved one.
Memories of the great times you have enjoyed together will last forever
We have many happy and valued memories of Gordon, through our shared involvements in Rotary at Club, District and International level. Our thoughts are with the family.

We are sending our sincere condolence with Gordon’s passing to the Hastie family and friends. My wife and I knew Gordon for many years working for Gerber, and I had the pleasure traveling with Gordon on many orations and can also confirm his fondness of a good bottle of red. Gordon had a big personality, may he rest in peace.
Our sincere condolence,
I liked Gordon’s cheerful and positive manner and I really admired his ability to get things done. Gordon served his community very well and was a great bloke.

I met Gordon via my commitment and involvement with MSPN. I always found Gordon to be such an inspirational individual and i saw him as a grandfather that I never had the privilege of having. He was always positive, enthusiastic, and full of great ideas to share. He was honest and said things the way they had to be heard. His memories will be eternal. My condolences go out to his wife Eva and his children and grandchildren. Gordon a great individual who now RIP and will be remembered within our association even without his physical presence in our meetings moving forward. Thanks Gordon for being you. Amen!
