  8. Graeme, we will all miss your smile and friendly chats, a great guy who gave it all for Active Trees, nothing was any bother or too hard or too complicated for you. You just got it done perfectly with no complaint
A wonderful workmate who will be sorely missed

  10. The first time I called the house looking to talk to Jarred (home phones were still a thing), I hadn’t met Graeme properly yet. Without missing a beat a guy (I know now that it was Graeme) answers the phone “Pizza Lovers Mitcham, can I take your order?” he asks to which I presume a wrong number, apologise and hang up. I check the number is correct and call again… same thing again though this time Jarred, expecting the call, sorted it out…

You got me a few time since Graeme. You’re funny and you’re missed, that won’t change.

Thinking of you and your family. Lovely service.

  17. Glenys, Keith, Craig, Jess and Jarrod and families, I cried watching over the computer, and I cannot begin to imagine what it would be like in person for you all. I hope you hold onto all those treasured memories with Graeme, and regularly look back on the many photos you have that remind you of him and how you loved him.

  19. Thank you for welcoming us to a beautiful service, acknowledging and farewelling the life of this beautiful man. We feel grateful to have known him, if only briefly. He was a wonderful neighbour, with a kind heart and always a kind word for our kids who would hang over the fence and holler for him to come and chat. He was very generous and we loved sharing meals back and forth with him – particularly in the challenging times of extended lockdowns in winter. He showed remarkable character, helping everyone on the street with chopping up wood after that huge storm and the damage it left. We loved his music taste – it was great to have a neighbour where we enjoyed him blasting those tunes! We loved chatting to him over the fence and are so sad that we can’t help him with his vegetable garden, that he was so excited to get started. We won’t forget the way his face lit up when he told us about the first eggs that his chooks laid. So much joy. We commend the bravery of Keith and Jarrod in standing up today and speaking so eloquently. A beautiful tribute. Graeme will be greatly missed and we will think of him fondly.
Our sincerest condolences, Adam, Eden, Scarlet and Pip.
