  1. A beautiful service in a beautiful setting for a loving and supportive Uncle and godfather thank you uncle Bert for being a part of my life for all these years.condolances to aunty Marg and family.

  2. Hal, Keith and I deeply mourn your passing and will miss your warmth, humour and kind, gentle nature.
You spoke often about your family, and your love for them was inspiring.
We were privileged to know you and Margaret for over 40 years.
Margaret, I hope your wonderful memories of Hal will be a source of strength and comfort to you and to your family.
    Love, Deborah & Keith

  3. Hal, in our infrequent times at church, you would be at the door, with a ready smile and a joke to share with dad, mom and I, and though we were from a different cultural background, you made us feel at ease, and you always left us with a sense of parity. We miss you. [Hock], Kim, Guan

  4. Thank you Marg and all your lovely family for a beautiful service. The day was perfect with your wonderful grandchildren being part of this time. You must be very proud.
Chris this was a service we felt privileged to be part of – it was personal and very meaningful – thankyou

  5. A deeply meaningful service. A beautiful tribute to Hal and to the God he worshipped.
With love, sympathy and prayers from your friends at EDBC.

  6. My thoughts, prayers and love are extended to Hal’s family as you all farewell a great man. Hal was such a valuable member of the North Eastern Prayer Breakfast team which I led at the time. He made a fantastic contribution and it was a joy to work with him on that project over several years. His faith, servant-heart and commitment were an inspiration.

  7. Hal, you will be sorely missed by the Gilmour family. You were the mini Bunnings for Andrew, a doting grandfather figure to Liam, Blake and Trent watching them grow up from babies and a father figure to Kerryn who was your on call IT support and will miss the chats at the cup of tea catch ups. We will miss you dearly and will always be there for Margaret as trusty neighbors and dear friends.
