  1. I was so shocked to read of Harry’s passing.
We met many years ago when he was at Brighton, and I was desperately trying to find a physio that could make sense of my problems.
He was the one who unlocked the underlying problems and put me on a path to painless living after years of pain an discomfort. Along the way we had many interesting and controversial chats that were always enjoyable, sometimes controversial.
For many years I relied on his insights and advice regarding my spinal condition and his advice regularly resulted in avoiding surgery and regaining normal activity with treatment and specific exercises as well as the underlying care and authoritative advice given.
My condolences to his family – I will miss his professionalism and friendly knowledgable banter that made each and ever appointment totally enjoyable and memorable and his methods worked!

  2. Harry has been a client and friend for almost 20 years. Whenever Id see his ph number come up I would smile , knowing , no matter what mood I was in before the call , I would be in a much better mood after.
That’s just how he was to me. I’m really going miss you Harry.

To Nicole Jack and Rose I am so sorry for your loss

  3. Harry was a one of a kind. He was a very influential figure in my life as I worked out where I wanted to go in life. My days working and talking with him were very cherished times for me. He taught me there is more to life than work. Every Friday afternoon we would chat for ages about everything and nothing at the same time.

He would crack jokes and we would be in a laughing fit every time and once he started laughing he couldn’t stop it was infectious to all those around.

I send my deepest condolences as we lost one of the great ones. As everyone has already said his love for his family was a clear number 1 and he couldn’t of been more proud of his family. Nicole I send my best to you and the kids and am thinking of you in these tough times!!

  4. I only had the relative brief privilege of working alongside Harry at the TAC over the last two years. He made an immediate impression upon me as a kind, intelligent, and relaxed colleague, who generously and humbly gave his time and guidance to myself and others. Harry had a sharp wit and a unique calm about him. His loss felt far and wide, and he will be missed incredibly. Hearts and thoughts are with Nicole, Jack and Rose.

  5. Praying for you Nicole, Jack and Rose during this difficult time. Harry will certainly be missed by everyone whom he crossed path with. Rest in peace Harry.

  6. My deepest condolences to Nicole, Jack, Rose and the whole family. Harry was always larger than life and has given so much to so many others. Taken far too soon. I’m thinking of you and sending love.

  7. Had many great memories with Harry through our high school years. A tragic loss and my sincere heartfelt condolences to the family on your loss.
    R.I.P Harry

  8. What a terrible shock and sense of loss for me to find out about Harry’s death. Memories immediately came flooding back of some wonderful years as a teenager in West Sunshine in the 1980s, playing soccer at Sunshine Heights Junior Soccer Club with Harry Papagoras & Alex Kountouri.
The team manager was my father Manny, the coach my uncle Sonny. They were so proud of the young men in their charge, and their wonderful achievements in the subsequent decades.
I would see Harry from time to time over the subsequent 35 years, and our reconnection was always warm and instant.
Harry was a rare man – gifted and ambitious, but able to achieve so much without ever losing his smile or enthusiasm.
Thank you for those memories and lessons, which will remain with me forever.
My deep respect to Nicole, Jack and Rose. My father and I hope your pain is lessened by the knowledge of the love and respect with which Harry was held by so many.

  9. I only worked alongside Harry for a very short period of time but he was one of kind and he had a heart of gold.
In the time we’ve worked together, he taught me so much. But it wasn’t always about work.
He talked about his family all the time, he talked about his guitars and of course his love for Adidas!
Rest easy Harry. You were an amazing man and your loss has impacted so many.
My condolences to his wife Nicole and children Jack & Rose

  10. Words cannot express the depth of shock & loss and immense sympathy to Nicole, Rose & Jack. Neither can the uniqueness of Harry be accurately summarized – smart, funny, loyal, engaging, entertaining, creative, a leader – truly an quality individual. I’m very proud to call him my friend. The giggling with Yeg can now continue. Ride only with tailwinds, mate. Steven

  11. I feel absolutely privileged to have worked on the same team as Harry at Clinical Panel. Such a wonderful, sensible, caring and funny man who was always giving of his time. I extend my deepest sympathies to his family. Harry is not replaceable or forgotten.

  12. Dear Nicole, Jack & Rose

Such sadness at your loss. Harry was always quick with a joke and a laugh, whenever we would see you all with the Eathers. Can’t imagine being at your wedding and now to see his funeral. Thank you for being part of our lives; sending you our love and praying for peace.

  13. So Harry (XAP 151) had hundreds of beautiful and loving posts on his memorial page? Physsica! And I don’t speak Greek.

It’s difficult to write a tribute to someone with so many interests and quirks. To be with Harry is to become like Harry… even a little bit. Many of us carry his mannerisms, his figures of speech, his wise sayings and these habits will live with us for as long as we are around..

His superpower was his ability to cut through things and see to the heart of what they really are. He figured out that in compensation the problem is always the doctor and was able to convince me of that, as a doctor! Of course, he was right. He was a powerful influencer of those around him and was the thought leader in matters where compensation and healthcare intersect.

Harry is a very important person to my family, he was like the father my children never had. He listened without judgement or negative comment, all the while still influencing them in the right direction for them. He came to China for our family wedding and made it hilarious. Everything we ate, Harry described as “chicken beaks”. He spent way too long buying traditional Chinese outfits for Jack and Rose one day, they were only about 2 years old at the time. He pulled out every item in the store till he got the best ones. All the while outside someone had faked being hit by a car. Harry joined in the kerfuffle with the outfits under his arm and did that jump with a side kick clicking his heels together to show his glee at what he had bought for the twinnies.

Our hearts go out to you Nicole, Jack and Rose. We have already discussed coming over when Tarquin finally gets home so he can play Harry’s guitars and we can all sing along. Nicole, you and I can pick up the conversation about the pitch of our car engines, the relative merit of wristwatch deployment clasps and the soundness of investing in even more Les Paul guitars at any time, any day of the week. We miss him already.

Lots of love, David, Sharyn, Gage, Monica, Arielle, David, Rhedyn and Tarquin

  15. Deepest condolences to you Nicole, Jack & Rose. It was always so obvious how much Harry loved you, he was a wonderful colleague and friend and will be greatly missed. Much love to you all.

  16. Nicole,

I have no words which truly express my feelings.

Harry was an extremely important person in my life. It is difficult for me to count over the many lessons he has taught me and the experiences we have shares together. Every memory I have of Harry is full of laughter, happiness and wisdom.

Whenever I have ever needed anything, be it practical education, advice or inspiration on our shared hobbies(which are numerous), Harry has always been energetic in sharing his enthusiasm for life and his wealth of knowledge and experience. It is truly rare to find a man who is willing to give so much, without ever asking for anything in return. He is a true inspiration and mentor to me.

Not many people are willing to take in a young, rebellious teenager and speak to them with respect and understanding. His words will be with me forever and the impact he has had on my life has made me a kinder, happier and more whole man.

I have already taken some of the lesson that I have learnt from Harry and passed them forwards, and I will continue to do so. The world was lucky to have Harry, and I am extremely lucky to have had him in my life.

I wish we had more time. I wish that life was not so unforgiving. I wish that there was a way that we could change what happened. I wish that there was a chance to say goodbye.

I am truly sorry for your loss Nicole, and I am sending all of my love and support to you and the twins.

  17. Harry was my colleague and my friend at Worksafe.I will miss our chats, which always brightened my day, and his restaurant recommendations, which never disappointed.
To Harry’s family I extend my deepest sympathies and hope you find some comfort in knowing how much he meant to so many people.
    Bye for now Harry.

  18. Harry was such a beautiful person who found wonder in every moment of his children’s lives. Through the years he told me so many details that fascinated and delighted him. He told me he was living the dream and he really meant it. So kind and so caring, always ready with a funny story or to offer support when someone needed it. I appreciated him as a friend and a colleague and when some of the pain settles I will make sure his name remains spoken when his work mates are together again. It’s not possible to forget you Harry.
Condolences to Nicole, Jack and Rose.

  19. My sincerest condolences to Nicole, Jack and Rose. Such a gorgeous man taken way too soon.
I met Harry for the first time on orientation day at Lincoln. Along with Alex, the three of us sat there laughing at probably being the only people from the west in the entire lecture theatre. I will always remember his smile, his laugh, and his sense of humour. Rest in Peace dear friend.

  20. Rest In Peace Harry. You will always be remembered with love. So many wonderful memories since we were kids Always in our heart your cousins Parthena Dina Stavroula from Greece and our cousins from Sweden Sia Niki Maria
My deepest sympathies to Harry’s beautiful family.

  21. Sending all my love to you Nicole, Jack & Rose. Harry adored his kids and worshipped the ground Nicole walked on. He was supportive and encouraging, especially of young people starting out, and always made time for a non work-related chat and a laugh, all with Nicole playfully rolling her eyes and smiling as she walked past my office. Harry was intelligent, quick-witted and interesting – he’s the type of person you could talk to for hours (and often did!). My last memories of Harry are of him wearing Tash’s high heels at a work function, where the entire party was laughing at him. That’s just the type of guy he was, he loved bringing people together and was happy for it to be at his expense. His inappropriate jokes always got me – no one else could get away with his cheekiness but, Harry was allowed and he knew it. I will endeavour to always live the LTD in his honour. Harry, you will be so so missed. Love Mary xxx

  22. Sending all my love to Nicole, Jack & Rose – he absolutely adored his twins and worshipped the ground Nicole walked on. Harry was so encouraging and supportive, and ensured that life was never taken too seriously. Regular chats in the Injurynet office to ensure morale was kept high was one of his joys – always with Nicole playfully rolling her eyes and smiling as she walked by. Thank you for making me laugh until my cheeks hurt – I will always live the LTD in your honour. Harry, you will be so so missed. Love Mary xx

  23. My heartfelt condolences to Nicole, Jack and Rose for the tragic and sudden loss of your loving husband and father.
Harry was a passionate, caring and wonderful man and will be sorely missed by the people whose lives he touched. RIP
    May his memory be eternal.

  24. Dear Nicole, Rose & Jack
Words cannot express our sadness at hearing of the tragic passing of Harry, a wonderful husband, father & friend.
One of our memories goes to when we were having breakfast in the restaurant of a hotel in Brisbane. We noticed a guy come into the restaurant wearing the worst pale blue 1970s dinner suit and with him was Harry sporting the biggest smile on his face – yes, it was his wedding day. That smile is what we remember when we think of Harry.
With our deepest condolences, thoughts and prayers
    R.I.P Harry

  25. Rest In Peace Harry. You will always be remembered with love. So many wonderful memories since we ware kids Always in our heart Parthena Dina Stavroula and our cousins from Sweden Sia Niki Maria
My deepest sympathies to Harry’s beautiful family.

  26. Sending my heart felt condolences Nicole, Rose and Jack, my prayers and thoughts are with you on the loss of your husband and father. Harry was such a radiant man, his positivity and happiness was unique and special, so inspiring for me. Every time i would ask Harry about his children, his face would light up and shine and say they are gorgeous, they are the best! What a privilege and pleasure it was to have had Harry as a colleague for the past 13 years. Such an intelligent man, practical in his approach and always so helpful. I will miss him dearly. Rest in peace Harry.

  27. Deepest sympathies to Nicole, Jack and Rose. I had the privilege of working with Harry over a number of years and he will be remembered not only for the passion and dedication he brought to his work, but also for the positive energy he always radiated.

  28. My deep condolences to you Nicole, Rose and Jack. I had the very good fortune to work with Harry at WorkSafe, starting at 222 where he always had useful advice for me as a newbee, and then over the years when I was influenced by him in many ways.

I loved seeing his excitement with your pregnancy Nicole and the birth of the twins, and proud stories and pictures of you all over the years. He was absolutely besotted with you all as I’m sure you know.

Harry was a larger than life person and will be missed and live on in the wisdom and experience and fun and spirit he shared.

I am grateful to have known him. Thank you for your generosity in sharing the service this morning. I am so deeply sorry and am holding you all in my heart.

  29. Harry was well liked and respected by all of us at Worksafe. It was a pleasure to work at the old office with him as I always knew I would spend the afternoon laughing. I also learnt a lot from Harry, when I was jumping up and down about some injustice or other he would try and get me to think more in terms of legislation and practicalities. He had a wonderful sense of humour and we both gave as good as we got. Harry will be missed by all who crossed his path and I’m sure he is keeping an eye on us all from wherever his soul has progressed to. My sincere condolences to his family. With love Roya

  30. My deepest condolences to Harry’s family. It was a pleasure and privilege to work with Harry at Worksafe. He always made me laugh and also taught me a lot about the intricacies of the system. He will be missed by all who crossed his path, but I’m sure he is still keeping a close eye on everyone from wherever his soul is now x

  31. My deepest condolences to Nicole, Jack, and Rose.

Harry was a big personality, a unique person who could always easily relate to all those he came in contact with. His encyclopedic knowledge and guidance to assist colleagues were renowned and truly valued by everyone. My lasting memory of Harry is at the WorkSafe dinners where he would hold court with stories that covered the gamut of his life experiences. It was always the highlight of the evening and put a huge smile on everyone’s face. That was his great ability.

  32. My deepest condolences to you Nicole, Jack & Rose. I will so miss Harry’s stories, endless banter and laughter. His positivity, energy and passion was infectious and I am a better person having known and worked with him. Harry will always be in our hearts and will be so deeply missed.

  33. Harry brought a sense of adventure and fun into life that were omnipresent. His wit, intellect and passion for learning were boundless and we would often latch on to an idea and develop it for hours, tirelessly, and far exceeding most people’s tolerance. I could always count on Harry to give me a “laughter” headache but, mixed in with all the joking around, he was considerate, caring and well informed – the perfect mate.

The memories will remain indelibly etched in my mind forever and I am sincerely grateful to have known such a great man. He will be missed more than I can ever express.

Nicole, Jack and Rose, we are sorry for your loss and pray that you will have the courage and strength to endure the days ahead. Harry lives on in the memory of everyone who had the pleasure to have known him.

  34. Harry and I met when we were in high school and developed a lifelong friendship that no amount of distance or time would ever erode. I fondly recall all our culinary adventures and countless hours of banter and laughter over a good meal. We shared many firsts together that extended beyond our initial forays at various restaurants throughout Melbourne, including weekends at Mt Hotham, sailing around the Whitsundays and many weekends at the beach. We delighted in getting stylish hair cuts at John Morrey hair salon in Sth Yarra, playing pinball (which Harry had a real knack for), and staying up till the early hours of the morning, developing new religions.

  35. Rest In Peace Harry. You will always be remembered with love. So many wonderful memories from our time spent together in our 20’s. Chevron, Lygon Street, Hawaii, Lorne and many more. Always in my heart, from an old friend.
My deepest sympathies to Harry’s beautiful family.

  36. It was a joy and a privilege to work with Harry for close to a decade at Injurynet. I have many fond memories of our time in the office together – whether it was making up awards shows, reciting rap lyrics, sharing copies of Kafka, telling stories and jokes (far too rude to repeat here!), or figuring out the perfect formula for how many guitars one should own (n+1). He challenged me intellectually and professionally, and I was all the better for it.

I feel so grateful to have had that time with him. Sending much love to you, Nicole, Jack and Rose. xxx

  37. Harry’s life was so well-lived and a gift to all who knew him. His constant smile, infectious laughter, witty mind, funny sayings and ever positive outlook will be held dear in our hearts always. He has left us with so many treasured memories and renewed inspiration to love more deeply. Words are inadequate to express the sadness we feel at the loss of Harry. Nicole, Jack and Rose, we love you guys and stand with you as you mourn this very great loss. We look forward to open borders and a time when we can come together in person to celebrate an exceptional husband, father and friend – Harry.

  38. Nicole, we are so sorry for your loss and send love to you, Jack and Rose. Wish we could be there to support you today. Harry was such a fun person and I was lucky to work with both you.
Sending lots of love to you all, Liz and Ian Reed xx

  39. It was a privilege to have known and worked with Harry. Always so positive, ready to share his knowledge and so proud of his family, he will be sadly missed. Deepest sympathy to you Nicole, Jack and Rose

  40. My sincere condolences to Nicole, Jack and Rose.
Harry was a much loved and respected member of our work team.
I am privileged to have known Harry – his generosity, passion and positivity will be greatly missed.
My thoughts and love to you all.

  41. I feel very fortunate to have known Harry, he was an incredible human being with a wonderful heart. I always enjoyed my conversations with him whether the topic be work, our families or one of his many interests that he always knew a lot of detail about. His work legacy will have a positive impact for years to come, as will the fond memories of his amazing character. My thoughts are with Nicole, Rose and Jack at this difficult time.

  42. My thoughts are with Nicole, Jack and Rose. A beautiful service.

Harry had an uncanny ability to liven up the office whenever he was in at Injurynet. What stood out is that Harry always had time for anyone, whether you were the boss or a casual worker, Harry was always keen for a chat about “Living the LTD”. Harry played a pivotal role in my development as a Physiotherapist, particularly throughout my time at uni and for that I will forever be grateful.

It is clear that Harry has and will continue to have a great impact on the lives of so many.

  43. I only have good memories with Harry. What a true mentor he was for so many of us starting out in our careers. Harry was one of the rare people that treated everybody with respect and I will make sure to follow in his footsteps.

  44. Dear Nicole, Jack and Rose.

I am extremely saddened by the tragic passing away of Harry, a loving husband and father. As Alex’s brother in law, I knew Harry briefly and I remember him as someone who loved his friends, had passion for his life and work, and of course an immense love and devotion for you, his family. He would want you to remember him in this way and to go forward with the positivity that he did.

    My sincerest condolences.

  45. My deepest condolences Nicole, Jack and Rose. Harry was such a kind and genuine man, with a passion for the things he loved and a great sense of humor and keen wit, he will be dearly missed.

  46. Nicole, Jack and Rose we are thinking of you and hold you in our hearts. Harry will always be remembered for being a loving husband, great dad and friend. Harry always made us smile and laugh. He will be greatly missed!

  47. My sincerest condolences to Nicole, Jack and Rose.
I was privileged to have worked with Harry over the past 3-4 years on Clinical Panel roles. In that time he taught me an incredible amount about work but also many other things. We became great mates and I will always treasure the friendship that we had.
I admired so much about Harry, his intelligence, his humour, his generosity and his love of his family.
I will miss Harry’s stories, advice and most of all friendship.

  48. A huge hole is left in the hearts of so many Harry! Now who will I go to when I need life and career advice? Your encouragement to strive higher and to never underestimate myself has had such a deep impact on me.

Harry days at injurynet were always the best days. I loved our long Friday afternoon chats and ’30 minute’ bakery lunches with crap lamingtons. I’ll never forget, and it still makes me laugh, when the girls from the bakery asked you “Harry, why you look at chicken but order beef?” They never had any qualms making total fun of your eyes and you gave it right back to them.

When we travelled to China, we made a pact to buy the most unusual food in every convenience store we entered and eat it. No one else was game. But you were up for everything!

You tried to teach me to be grateful of my parents. Any complaint about Dad had you’d cheekily respond “At least you have a dad”.

Jack and Rose, Harry loved you so much and would spend ages showing me every single photo of the two of you and what shenanigans you had been up to. Telling me in detail about the quirks and intricacies of your personalities. His love and pride was so obvious and adorable. I am very grateful to have had him as a friend and I bet you don’t need anyone to teach you to be grateful that you had him as your daddy.

Nicole, I cant even fathom what it feels like to lose Harry from your life. But he will only be lost in the physical. He will always be with you, in the smiles of Jack and Rose.

Lots of love to you all.

  49. Sending sincere condolences, support and strength to you Nicole, Jack and Rose.
What an amazing man who leaves a great legacy. Taken way too soon.
Harry lived to his values. He had such great passion, knowledge and logic which he loved sharing with those around him. I will always cherish the memories, particularly of the banter and all the laughs shared. He will be sorely missed by so many.
    Much love, Coralie

  50. Sincere condolences to you Nicole, Jack and Rose on your loss. I met Harry some time ago as you know in Holland – Nijmegen and our personalities clicked.
Thinking of you all – My Sincere Regards – Alex.

  51. Dear Nicole, Jack, Rose and family we are deeply saddened by your great loss. Harry was a kind, very funny, easy going guy who will be missed by all who knew him. He will be remembered for his quick wit, looking on the positive side of things and his love towards his family and friends. We will miss seeing him running down the road with the kids in the morning trying to get to school on time, or roller blading with the kids through Yarraville giving them lots of fun. He was a genuinely nice guy who will be missed by all, but not forgotten! May he rest in peace. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all, love Matina, Abe and family.

  52. I don’t think I ever walked away from any meeting with Harry without smiling – his humour and outlook on life were infectious. I always thought Harry would be an essential ally in parenting as the kids got older: the assumption was that we would play guitar while we talked about the kids, laugh about nonsense and stayed sane. I’ll forever miss being blasted by Tool at deafening volume in the front seat of his car on the way to some guitar nerd destination.

Deepest condolences to Nicole, Jack and Rose from Nicholas, Naomi, Gilbert and Violet

  53. Our heartfelt condolences to Nicole, Jack and Rose. Harry’s sudden passing is such a tragedy. I met Harry while we were studying at University and we have remained friends since. I have the fondest memories of travelling and working with Harry. He was an independent critical thinker and a great Physiotherapist. We will always remember Harry’s clever witty nature and great sense of humour. He will be greatly missed! RIP Harry. Des, Julianne and Family.

  54. Nicole and family deepest sympathies for this tragic loss. Harry was someone who was loved by all at WorkSafe. His contribution to support injured workers over the years has been enormous along with the great energy he brought to the clinical panel. Harry is someone who will be irreplaceable as both a person, friend and clinician to so many .

  55. My deepest condolences to you Nicole, Jack and Rose. Harry came to our life when he met my brother Alex back in Primary School. I have always thought of him as my little brother too. I will never forget his smiling face and his incredible sense of humour. Rest in Peace Harry.

  56. My sincere condolences to all Harry’s family. Nicole, Rose and Jack… there are no words to make you feel better now, I am so sorry for your loss and I want you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you, God gives you the strengh you need to face this difficult time.
Rose and Jack… I cannot even imagine how much you miss your dad, Harry loved you both so much and he always will be with you in your heart and your memories. I send you all my love.
    Rest in peace Harry.

  57. I first met Harry when Nicole arranged a catch-up so we could meet the ‘new’ man. He was soooo nervous however we came away thinking ‘he seems really nice’. We were on the mark though he proved to be far more than nice! Harry radiated warmth, happiness, love, kindness and intelligence, and we could not have chosen a better partner for our friend.

Nicole, Jack and Rose, my deepest condolences to you at this most challenging time.

Harry was a wonderful man and I am very fortunate to have met him. Rest in Peace Harry.

  58. We are so thankful we got to know Harry. His guitar collection/museum and encyclopedic knowledge of rock music was unique and unparalleled!! He was always keen to come to live music and I’m so glad we got to experience many shows together over the past couple of years. He was a mentor and was so generous with his advice, I used to call him “the voice of reason” and I will miss him deeply. Sending love to Nicole, Rose and Jack.

  59. Will miss our random chats Harry, from how quickly you could grow a beard to mountain biking and anything in between, guaranteed to include a laugh or two. You will be sorely missed by many. So sorry for your huge loss Nicole and twins.
    Nick

  60. Too young, too soon, too sudden and too much to give. A jolly, generous soul who treated everyone the same. He was a tremendous support to me over 20 years ago when studying for the McKenzie credentialing exam. McKenzie education weekends will never be the same.

  61. Taken too soon Harry, but a life lived large nonetheless. Nicole, Jack and Rose, my deepest sympathies to you. May you all live long lives. Glad to have known and worked with you Harry. There really was no-one quite like you.

  62. My sincere condolences and deepest sympathies to Nicole, Jack and Rose
It was a privilege to know and work with Harry. He will be greatly missed

  63. Nicole, Jack and Rose, I can’t express how deeply sorry I am for your loss.
It is heartbreaking to have lost such a kind, genuine and generous colleague and friend in Harry.
He was always so reliable and willing to help with his (many) words of wisdom and wit!
He taught me so much and I will honestly miss him.
    Thinking of you.

  64. Harry will be remembered as a fantastic bloke, a doting Dad and husband and a good friend to many. We’ll especially miss Harry’s witty banter at soccer training! Love and thoughts are with Nicole, Jack and Rosie and all who loved him xxx

  65. I will always remember Harry for his expertise and his gentle good humour; and the times he blew us away with his talent on the guitar!

I cannot believe this sad news of his passing too soon. My sincere condolences to Nicole, Jack and Rose along with his brother and family. He lived life to the full and was a genuine and intelligent human being who will be greatly missed.

  136. I remember first meeting Harry in 2003, and thinking, “this bloke is looking at me funny”. As it turns out, he had a unique way of looking at the whole world, which had little to do with his eyes. What a man, I have no words. Something approaching the most complete human being I’ve ever met. An intense conversation, a laugh, a throw off line, a “logical extreme”…. all in quick succession.

A man who would support you and keep you grounded through thick and thin. He always appreciated what others brought to his life, and would happily share his with you.

To Nicole, Jack & Rose, we are with you. There are no words. Know that we are here.

  137. Our heart goes out to you Nicole, Jack and Rose! Harry radiated with love for you and would often share stories at work of little moments he had spent with you that made him smile like rocking out to ‘sweet child of mind’, weekend adventures around Yarraville & Sedon or trips on school holidays. When I had the opportunity to work with Harry, he always showed kindness and a willingness to help out. He was generous with his time in answering questions and passionate about his physiotherapy work. It was lovely to see a person vibrant, full of life and proud husband and dad. His love for you and zest for life will always be imprinted in our hearts. Here for you, lots of love Siobhan, Dylan and Noah.

  138. I have never forgotten how Harry always made me laugh when we were at Uni together. Despite many years there’s a fond place in my heart for him. Huge condolences to his loved ones.

  139. It is with deep sorrow, shock and regret that I learnt of the sudden, unexpected demise of Harry Papagoras at such a young age.

I got to know Harry through working with him at Swanston Street Medical Centre where he was the physiotherapist associated with the Clinic. Harry was a jovial, friendly and approachable chap, and a very competent and knowledgable physiotherapist. All my patients who I referred to him spoke highly of him and I myself have been attended to by him and was impressed by his treatment protocols and suggestions. He will be missed as a colleague.

Work aside, I have interacted with Harry, not infrequently, at one of my favourite Chinese Restaurants for lunch and on these occasions Harry spoke very fondly and proudly of his family, especially his twins. Besides this though, he was also extremely proud of his Rolex Daytona watch which he managed to obtain, in spite of a waiting list which existed at the time of the purchase.

Harry will be sorely missed by all his colleagues at Swanston Street Medical Centre. Our deepest condolences go to his wife and family. May he Rest In Peace.
