After watching the service online, if you can leave a guest message to let the family know you have joined into the service, that would be greatly appreciated.

Helen was so welcoming when I moved into the Unit next to her in Pakington Street. She was a wonderful, caring and very friendly neighbour. It was a beautiful service to celebrate her life.
Very fond memories. Love and best wishes to all her family.
Thank you all for taking the time to make a comment and especially sharing your memories of our Mum. We are so grateful to have felt your presence and love this morning. We felt it was a fitting celebration of our Mum and Muma. Stay in touch, for the time we can really give each other a hug, look one another in the eye and share our little bit of Helen we hold in our hearts.
xoxox Love from Louise Maddy, Michael, Genevieve and Biz.
Farewell to a wonderfull woman who gave so much. Especially for looking after me when i was young and my ears needed fixing. My main memories from those times spent at Argyle Rd where that it was acceptable to put hundreds and thousands on toast at breakfast and that the trike shouldn’t be riden to the bottom of Argyle rd.
So many memories of time at Durras such a perfect playground for adventurous kids and carefree parents.
I remember Helen as a person who was genuinely interested in you, she gave you 100% attention when you engaged with her. She was warm, caring and intelligent, I loved our conversations. And I will always remember her hands, soft and strong and reassuring, while Kate was dying and in the evening after when she held mine in hers it was such a comfort to me.
Beautiful service. Loved hearing all Helen’s history. Great job Louise. The photos showed what a full life she had with both John, immediate family and grandchildren
Such wonderful memories of the annual May holidays at Durras along with the Heathcote clan – mornings at the beach, sandwiches on mass for lunch, walks after dinner on the beaches and through the spotty gum bush, making cubbies by the lagoon and crossing the mossy old broken bridge and trying not to fall in, the big special night out at the Bateman’s Bay RSL and prawn cocktails. Helen and sister Kate (mum) seamlessly coordinating it all so that we kids could have adventures and fun.
Such a beautiful service today and so wish we cousins could have been there with you to celebrate Helen and her strong, determined, adventurous and compassionate presence in our lives. I had many tears at the love that was so evident today with such beautiful words. Much love, Megan xx
Thank you for the opportunity to share in Helen’s memorial service today. Helen was a lovely caring lady and it was evident today that she will be sadly missed, but not forgotten by her family.
With Kindest Regards, David (Melbourne Legacy)
A beautiful service with many wonderful memories of mum, Helen and mumma. A truely inspiring and remarkable woman who lived life to the fullest with graciousness and humility.
Very sad we could not be there in person, but wanted to thank Lou and Cate for all of the wonderful love and support in making the service possible today in difficult times. Thank you all for your support in joining via live feed and for all your wonderful support and wishes over recent weeks. Much love David, Deb and Sophie Heathcote
Beautiful service and fitting tribute to you dear mum Cate.
So sorry we were unable to be there in person but definitely there in spirit.
Thinking of you and Sending lots of love
We have just watched Helen’s memorial service and were deeply moved by the story of her life. We wish we had known earlier of all her life’s impressive achievements and of the interesting life she has led.
We met Helen when we first joined the Deepdene Uniting Church in 2008 and quickly became very fond of her, recognising what an important part she played in the life of the church. As coordinators of the English Conversation for Overseas Students (ECOS) programme we were always very grateful to Helen for giving of her time so generously to this programme and making so many of the students feel nurtured and welcomed in the group, and to their living and learning in Australia. She was warm and loving, with a great sense of humour – a wonderful example to us all. Lindsay and Barbara Herbert
Through Deepdene church I knew Helen for only a short time, but I enjoyed her company on Sundays and at ECOS.
She always had a twinkle in her eye. I visited Helen at Kew gardens, and from what I have heard today, her remark as we sat in her tiny sitting room there makes sense, as a concern for living simply and considering others. Her response to my comment that it was lovely to have the two rooms was that she had been quite happy with the one room , but the family organised the second room .
Your tributes rounded out the achievements and personality of Helen. Thank you .
My sincere sympathy to all Helen’s family and close friends.
Blessings
