  1. This was a wonderful service for a fabulous man, Ian McInnes. I was unable to attend on Thursday because I had another medical comittment at the time of the service. As co-examiners for the Australian Medical Council, we knew each other well, and continued our discussions about our work, teaching, examining and producing medicolegal reports on Sundays when we both attended church at the Mount Eliza Uniting Church.

  2. What a lovely tribute to a gentleman. Like Cas I did not train nursing at the Alfred but had many happy years in the hallowed surrounds of cardiac wards. Vale Cas

  3. Pat Lillie . My love to you Ann and family. A wonderful tribute to such a wise and loving man.
I am so grateful for the opportunity to listen to the service .

  4. What a privilege to share in today’s outstanding service and, as Cameron said, to have so many gaps from this quiet achiever’s life filled in, but still barely scratching the surface. What wonderful legacies Ian leaves. So many are thankful he crossed our paths. Rich memories to cherish.
Thank you Ian, Ann, Simon, Rob and families.

  5. What a fantastic service. CAS to a tee! Sorry I couldn’t be there in person today but it was wonderful to join in on celebrating his life. My thoughts to all the family. Jill Kimber

  6. Such a wonderful tribute to dear Ian (as I knew him) giving thanks for his life and skills as a surgeon. What a blessing he has been to the world. Rest in Peace Ian, Love, Margaret.

  7. Wonderful to hear the stories of Wink’s life. He was and is a great role model for how to live life – put others first – not just a motto but the way he lived. I hope he is enjoying a triple gin with Vic and Sue. He deserves it. A hell of an innings.

  8. Condolences to ‘Mrs mac’, Rob, Simon and spouses.

  9. It was a privilege to attend today’s memorial for Cas by livestream. The thoughtful tributes from family and friends added more colour and detail to my memories of a very gracious, wise, hardworking and warm person. I will always remember the enriching times I spent with Cas in the surgical history sphere.
