  1. Dear Jan, Belinda and Andrew, Many thanks for the opportunity to view Ian’s service. We have been thinking about you all. What an amazing age and so many memories. The music was so appropriate too. Love to you all. Jane and Chris

  2. Dear Jan and Stan,

Whoops. Missed the service, but got to view it today. Thanks. I remember Warragul, Gillian and I visited soon after we were married, late 70’s? I just saw Dad in the corner of a wedding photo, and I was touched that you included a photo with Mum and Dad in it. And loved the joke about the accountant, given that your Dad was an accountant.

Don’t worry, you won’t forget him. And in time each memory will bring a smile.

Best wishes to you and yours,

    Neil

  13. Wonderful service, very moving, a tribute to Uncle Ian’s life.

He lived his life with honesty, integrity, courage and optimism – and a great sense of (sometimes wicked) humour and fun.
He was devoted to his family and friends, was interested in everyone and made them feel welcome and included, and enjoyed being alive..
His smile lit up the room.

Ian was a delightful gentleman and will be fondly remembered at Vermont South Bowls Club.
We always enjoyed his company and admired his friendly but very competitive spirit. We had the occasion to say to him on many occasions he was an inspiration, a remark that always brought a big smile to his face.
    Rest in Peace Ian.
