We remember Uncle as a dignified gentleman who always spoke most respectfully with every one. As a fellow Xavierite, I admire his spirit of adventure and dedication to spread the light of knowledge.

Misquitta was more than a friend to me — he was a guide and mentor whose presence I cherished deeply. His loss leaves a quiet space in my heart. My prayers are with his family during this difficult time.
Dear Margaret, Tony, Scot and Iggi’s extended family. Thank you for sharing a great service you organised for Iggi. When you were in Bendigo we took you so much for granted to be a great friend and part of the Bendigo family. Listening to the stories during the service all the memories of good times we had together came out alive. RIP dear friend.

I am so sorry about your loss. And so sorry that my favourite teacher has passed. I will always remember Mr. Misquitta’s dry humour – that you Tony have inherited in spades; his such characteristic way of speaking; he commanded our willing respect, listening, learning, thanks, and cheerfulness. I will pray for him, so appropriately, at our children’s school church.. St Anthony’s. My thoughts and wishes with you all.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Uncle Iggi. Please accept our heartfelt condolences — no words can fully capture the weight of this loss.
As the first among us to arrive in Australia, he didn’t just build a life for himself; he quietly laid the foundation for so many others who followed. His legacy isn’t just in what he did, but also in who he was — grounded, and quietly brave. May his soul rest in peace.

Tommy has so many wonderful memories to share about you. and you have added so much to the lives of people around you. You will be missed.
The uncle Iggy we know is a quintessential teacher. Always curious, inquisitive, keen on learning, and ultimately on teaching. You’d fine the amazing in everyday things we take for granted.
Thank you for your guidance and support through and years, and for being the catalyst in us moving to Australia.
