Dear Andrew, Carol, Melinda and families, I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Tante Ilse and my eyes filled with tears when Deborah told me the news. I have so many wonderful memories of our families growing up together and your stories have brought so much back to me. Your home was always our second home to our family and what a wonderful life we all had with Tante Ilse, our second mum.
The service this afternoon was beautiful, as were the words, pictures and memories. I’m so sorry Zena and I were not able to join you today but our hearts are with you now and with Tante Ilse forever.

So touching to see the Dees scarf draped next to all those bright and beautiful gerberas. You all shared beautiful stories and memories, it was such a pleasure to learn more about your mum and I could really feel the Austrian quality of your family.
