Following the service, the footage will be posted and you can watch at a later time if you were unable to watch at the time of the service.
Irene, you had the service you chose to have many years ago. Communion, Daffodils and the Priest wearing Robes.
A service you would have been proud of. The Church was full of your family and friends who loved you

Condolences Rob and Josh and families on the passing of dear Irene
Our sincere condolences to all the family.
Our connection to Irene was through Ray Parsons who was the Manager of Wattyl Paints in Western Australia- Irene was his secretary. And Ray always said “she had my back” I became the contact person to Irene for Ray when he went into aged care and was privileged to get to know Irene and was the receiver of many of Irene’s cards, she made with her daffodil signature which I will always treasure.
(Dad) Ray was always most appreciative to have a secretary of such a ultra-high caliber who took pride in everything she did, and nothing was too much trouble.
Thank-you for being- part of our lives Irene we certainly have all been blessed.
God speed. xx
Rosemarie Parsons on behalf of Wayne Parsons and Tony & Susan Ward – (Wayne & Tony too worked for Wattyl paints)
Goodbye my soul-sister . I feel as if part of me is missing. So many precious memories of the years spent together in Perth. From church , choir, pantomimes and picnics-all accompanied by Amberley Chenin of course! Such a good and well lived life with amazing and unfailing trust in her God. Rest in peace now safe in Gods arms my special friend.

Old friend from Wattyl. Sadly missed.
My darling friend Irene, what a very special lady you were in my life, I will always remember you and your wonderful cuddles. I know you are now safe in the arms of our dear Lord, rest in peace beautiful lady, and thank you for being in my life and for all your love. To Rob and family, my thoughts and prayers are with you all during this saddest of times, take care and God Bless you all.
Such a kind hearted lady in every way, so many fond childhood memories. She will now be where she belongs up in Heaven resuming her guardian angel post.
A second mum to me for all of my childhood years. Greenwood days remembered with a smile as Irene and mum (Jeanne) would picnic in the lounge with champagne, caviar and benson & hedges cigarettes while watching the footy yelling at the screen. While anticipated, Irene’s passing still hit hard. She had a smile and a big hug like no one else. Daffodils will always bring a smile to my face as I remember what a beautiful lady you were. Thank you for being the sister my mum never had. Rest easy xxx

A beautiful lady inside and out. God called her and she answered. Rest in peace my dear friend and God mother to Belinda. You gave us so many beautiful memories. Distance kept us apart but love kept us together. Daffodils will always be a special flower. I remember Iram would send you 10 dozen daffodils in spring. So you celebrated your birthday twice a year. Rest now till we meet again. Xxx
Dear Irene. Such a sweet beautiful lady. I remember clearly her walking home from the train after work. Beautiful black hair coiffed into a French roll. One of the best ladies who will be sadly missed by all.
