  2. Wonderful service, you all did Jim very proud with that send off. Glad to have been able to share in the day. Love to all from Stephen, Sinead, Leo, Daniel and Amelia xxx

  3. Jim and I travelled a long road over the years: from our young days in Glasgow, to Melbourne, to Montreal, and back to Glasgow. We kept in touch by writing, phoning and even skyping. He is sorely missed. Treasured memories of our times together will stay with me forever. RIP my dear friend, Jim.

So grateful we could share in this wonderful celebration of Jim’s life on line. Our prayers and thoughts are with all the Cairns family at this time.

  5. What a beautiful service! Thank you for the privilege of allowing us to share in the celebration of Jim’s life. Thinking of you all. x

  6. Sincere condolences to Jim, Joe, Mary, Maggie and your families. I have very fond memories of the grand times we had with your dear father and mother, along with Uncle Joe and Pat. Jim certainly loved a few beers over a sing-a-long of some Irish / Scottish rebel ballads. He was truly one of nature’s gentlemen who was admired by everyone fortunate enough to have known him. I’m sorry I was unable to attend his funeral, but I’m grateful to have been able to watch the moving service on line. Rest in Peace Jim. From Kevin North (Senior).
