  1. The service was a great tribute to Janine. Thank you Andrew and David for sharing your mum’s life with us all. Her contribution to God’s kingdom was so special. She will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. May God bless you all at this time.

  2. Jennie & I have known John & Janine from the time they settled in Bacchus Marsh as members of the “Long Table”.

  3. Dear Andrew and David,
Thank you so much for making it possible for me to see Janine’s funeral service and also your Dad’s earlier in the year. Heather Carrangis alerted me to them. Unfortunately I lost contact with them when they moved from Bacchus Marsh.
Janine was very kind to us here in Adelaide and to me especially when I first joined St Matthew’s youth group. My mother developed schizophrenia and I actually stayed in Janine’s home for a while to be able to study! She also sent out our contact letters when we were in Kenya with CMS. Michael (now 54!!) will never forget Aunty Janine as she gave him his most precious possession – a 40 year calendar! It never leaves his side – or pocket! He still remembers his holiday with you all too. I’ll be especially thinking of you all as you grieve for both your Mum and Dad this Christmas. With love from Bobbie Dalby

  4. It was so very special to watch Janine’s farewell online. What a wonderful and committed lady she was in all that she took on.
Her gentle witness to her faith in Jesus came through very strongly.
And the family sense of humour was lovely.
My apology for not attending in person.
The whole family are very much in my prayers
