  1. Thank you to everyone, from those that watched Mum’s service, those of you that left comments, those of you that contacted us privately with lovely messages of love and support, and tales of your own beautiful memories of Mum. She would be happy to know she touched so many lives so deeply and will be remembered so fondly. I would like to thank Mum’s cousins that attended the burial service in Kiata on Friday – unfortunately this Covid situation severely restricted what we could do for Mum, but I’m so grateful that several of her cousins could attend the burial and give her a send off that none of us will ever forget. As Aunty Barb said, she always did like to be the centre of attention. Love you Mum, thanks for everything xxxxx

  2. Thank you to everyone who honoured mum by attending the service from wherever you could. She would have been moved to know the deep love and affection she held was recognised and warmly returned at her passing as it was in life that gave her so many wonderful find memories.
Your kind words and warm wishes are deeply appreciated. Janine

She spoke fondly of both you and Di and knew how lucky I am to have such good friends. She very much appreciated the visit at Mercy Place. Thank you also for the love and support given to me always, but particularly at this difficult time. Love you guys heaps! Michelle Ralph Tom Jess & Matt xxx

I will always remember Jenny from line dancing and all the fun times we all had together.

    Lyn.

    1. Thank you Lyn for watching the service and remembering good times shared with Mum. She loved her line dancing, truly enjoyed it and the friends made there. The song “God’s Been Good To Me” was played during the service as a nod to her line dancing connections, and also as she told Aunty Barb after completing a line dance to it, “I want that song played at my funeral”, so we couldn’t disappoint her. Kind Regards, Michelle

    2. Thank you Lyn. Mum loved her line dancing years and the song played at her service “God’s Been Good to Me” was a nod to her line dancing and also as she told Aunty Barb that she wanted it played at her funeral after doing a line dance to it at one of the meetings. Kind Regards, Michelle & Family

Absolutely loved the opening song, perfect

    1. Yes Neil Diamond – Mum loved the Hot August Night Album and the service although sad was a celebration of her life, so it was fitting the Crunchy Granola Suite was played, and as it was playing, I could imagine her tapping her foot in time to the music. I think she would have had a smile on her face too. Love Michelle xxx
