Dear Jana Cheryl Brian Bill Cassie & Sam & other family & friends. We first met Joan when she worked in Woolworths at Box Hill when I first left school & Billy Chambers & his mother also worked there – that means over 50 years ago – we were close friends all that time. Her warmth, laughter and straight talk will remain with me always. (Billy passed away on August 3 2020). I know all her family & friends will miss her presence but her spirit lingers on as a comfort. Condolences to you all. Love Margaret xxxxxx
What a beautiful service!! So glad that we could be a part of it from home. May god bless our dear Joan and give her loved ones all the comfort and blessings of heaven. Resting peacefully now in God’s eternal loving embrace.
What a beautiful service to honour a wonderful lady. I will cherish the memories of the times spent with her. She was a rare gem, I feel blessed to have had the chance to get to know her. Sending my love to all who also had the opportunity to laugh and at times cry with Joan. She will be sorely missed.

What a lovely farewell as Auntie would have liked, I did not see her very much in her latter years but remember her fondly from my youth. So sad not to be able to be with you, my love and prayers be with all our family at this time.

We witnessed Joan’s unselfish devotion, kindness and generosity in helping St. Luke’s during its
stages of inception. Thank you Joan. Thank you to Joan’s family for allowing us to say farewell via this funeral mass.
Eternal rest grant unto you Joan and let perpetual light shine upon you. May your soul rest in peace.
Thank you Chris for representing us, the parishioners of St. Luke’s.
