  6. I loved my chats with Joan as I walked past her house on my daily walk with our dog. We were neighbours for over 40 years and I was always so impressed with Joan’s cheerful and kind manner. She loved her boys and would happily recount news of their achievements and families. I, as an ex-teacher, loved to hear their stories. Joan was an elegant and impressive lady and a proud mother of Paul, Ross, Dean and Jason..

  21. I have such fond memories of Duke Street, Kevin and Fay and Auntie Flo. Was Joan ever the fastest walker you could never keep up with her. It only seems like yesterday we were kids watching you grow up and move away. So sorry for the family’s loss and also that we can’t meet to enjoy the memories together. We send our love to the whole family. Allan, Fayre and family.
