    1. Dear Amanda,

Thank you for your kind comments. Its been a tough time and was touched that you joined us in celebrating John’s life. sincerely Jackie

  1. Deepest sympathy to John’s family. In 2016 it was great to talk to John, at length, at a football reunion in Bairnsdale where we met and played together in the 60’s. And again in the late 70’s at Wy Yung Football Club. John was genuine person who acknowledged all those he knew in the past and present. He set a fine example to all, a true gentleman who is sadly missed.

    Sincerely

  4. It was great to share in the life of a wonderful humble Man . My thoughts are with you guys.
You gave him a great send off . I was very lucky to play football and cricket with him and then have him as a client in the rural Buisness.
In recent times , He used to drop into my Richmond shop on his walks and his visits to the vet.
I cherish that time we reminisced about the old Gippsland days .i will look forward to the Melbourne tussock jumper catch in August.. I am proud and honoured that he was part of my life .
He was in my eyes a Legend and a Great Great Man . Alllan Morrison

  13. To Dear Jackie, John, Matthew, Mia and family

The service was beautiful and was so nice hearing all the wonderful stories and words from everyone. John will never be forgotten in our lives and all the memories we have of him will last forever.

My biggest memory of him was as a teenager when we were at the Bengworden Barn Dance. I couldn’t wait to dance with him as I think I had a bit of a crush on him (I’ve never told anyone that) A bit embarrassing now but the memory is still here….

    Love and thoughts

    Shereena
