Such a beautiful service to remember a lovely lady. I’m honored that I got to attend all the way from Canada. I’ll never forget her wonderful hospitality when I was in Australia as a young girl. Joy was so funny, thoughtful and kind, and yes, asking me what I wanted for dinner before my eyes even opened in the morning!

The name says it all. She was so kind to everyone who descended on the house in St Mark’s Road and I will always remember the fun we all had. The food was wasted on me as I was such a fussy kid but she was happy to serve me up a cheese and sugar sandwich despite her culinary better thoughts. We’re so glad we made the trip to Melbourne last year and met her and all the family. Thanks so much for sharing the funeral proceedings with us, we cried and we laughed as I’m sure she would have wished. Our deepest love goes to all of you. Steve & Sarah
