  1. Was really sorry I was not able to get to Macedon for the service and very grateful for the chance to participate via the live stream. Karen’s commitment to the community and care for others through all her emergency management involvements will be long remembered – we will really miss her wisdom, humour , dedication, strategic thinking and so much more. Frances Ford (on behalf of the Northern Victorian Emergency Management Cluster)

  9. Our hearts break for you all . We loved Karen way across the world in Canada. She was so wonderful every day with our Aussie family and so lovely when we visited. So glad we can be part of her celebration as we won’t be in Australia until January.
Karen had integrity and spirit. Loved our conversations over a glass of wine.
She raised a beautiful family and had a loving marriage as well as giving so much to the world. Now that is a great legacy!
