I first met Karen about 50 years ago as a friend of Angela Modra. Then when I was 18 we had dogs in the same race at Warragal. I’ve never forgotten, just before the race Karen said: you need to feed that dog, it’s miles too light. Imagine the smile on my face when my dog came first!
Karen you were an incredible trainer, and all around wonderful lady. Condolences to your family on this enormous loss. Very grateful to have been able to watch your farewell.
Karen will always be a bright light in my memory. My thoughts are with you down there, look forward to seeing you all in the near future.
