  6. A beautiful soul lost to this world, I have so many memories of Karen and will forever remember her as a lovely lady and fondly remember chatting to her and her Mum at the races. I like to think of her, Viola and Jude all sitting round a table having a good chinwag. Thoughts go out to the family.

  16. I first met Karen about 50 years ago as a friend of Angela Modra. Then when I was 18 we had dogs in the same race at Warragal. I’ve never forgotten, just before the race Karen said: you need to feed that dog, it’s miles too light. Imagine the smile on my face when my dog came first!

    Karen you were an incredible trainer, and all around wonderful lady. Condolences to your family on this enormous loss. Very grateful to have been able to watch your farewell.

You were a beautiful women and I have very fond memories while visiting at The Golden Gate in Warrandyte, and while I lived in Warrandyte and visiting you in your early days of greyhound racing with Auntie Voila in Taroona Ave, watching your videos and how proud you were of your greyhounds. Rest in peace and reunited with mum.

Karen you were loved and respected and will leave a hole in our hearts . i remember growing up and we would cross paths when i tagged along with my Mum (Judy Hayley) . you always had time and an interest of care with everyone you meet . So tragic but i hope your reunited with my Mum one of your best friends. RIP.
