  5. Kevin ` Colonel` Mawdsley Viet Vet, Son, Father, Grandfather and Gun Bloke.
As Dean said… Can`t find the words. Something you never struggled with. LOVE is the one we had. Tears & beers keep flowing, a hole that can`t be filled is in my ticker. Beer doesn`t taste the same. Move over God the Great Man has arrived. Love to the Family which has now become mine through you. I will forever be in your debt for the friends and laughter we share. An empty bar stool and can of VB still await you. And yes the Carlton Draught will always be on the bottom shelf where they belong. Keep a place for me next to you at the big bar in the sky with just enough room for you to stop hitting me when you talk or spilling your pot waving your arms about excitedly. Forever in my thoughts. x

  6. Extraordinary man. One of the main reasons I enlisted. He was not only one of my best friends but the closest thing to a Grand Father a person could have. It`s going to be hard coming home and not seeing you at the RSL, Footy and Cricket or every Saturday at Dad`s place. I`m going to miss talking about not only about the Army but about life. I`m going to miss you a lot.
    Love you a lot Colonel.!
