  1. Thank you Matt, Liz and Kim’s family for sharing your memories of Kim with us, and inviting us to celebrate her life and mourn her passing. Your stories and memories were vivid reminders of Kim and the great person she was. I am truly sorry for your loss.

Kim – I think you’d be happy knowing that my learning of Dr Seuss’s wise words, of all people, will be forever due to you. And for many of us will bring back warm memories of you whenever life turns bittersweet.

Your personality, friendship, generosity, and love will be sorely missed.

  2. Lieve Kim, ik heb je nooit persoonlijk gekend maar altijd over je gehoord via je tante Jannij.

Je bent volgens mij heel bijzonder geweest.

    Rust zacht.

  3. I want to thank you for this beautiful ceremony. Thanks to the livestream I was able to watch from Holland. I would like to wish Jacky a lot of strength with this great loss. Kind regards from Irene Janssen (daughter of Greet Wessels)

  5. Dear Kim,
You made sure you lived your life your way as only you could. Always to the max! You have inspired so many people in the years of your sickness as you yourself put up a great fight. Say hello to Oma and Opa if you see them.
Goodbye Kimmy and maybe our paths will cross again in the future.

  6. An inspirational young woman for which we are fortunate to have had her amongst us for a short period.
I will remember the quote of Dr Zeus ending with; Smile because it happened. It will define my memory of Kim. TV

  7. Hi Kim,

I only knew you for a short time, but in that time you helped change the course of my life. Safe to say you will be sorely missed, but I’ll always look upon my memories with you, with Matt, and the rest of the party with a smile. You made the world a better place, and our lives richer for being in it.

  8. Kim’s life has touched me another time through this beautiful service which I shared live in Canberra. As Liz’s mother, I also knew Kim since she was 12. I also remembered that silly story that Liz had to go through the dog door while Kim tickled her from behind in their Adelaide home because Kim had forgotten to bring the key. And Chip and Scooter, their family dogs which had accompanied Kim to grow up. And I remembered all the flowers Kim had sent me even when she was in sick health… Thank you for the word “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened” although I still cried.

Rest In Peace my beautiful girl.

My heart goes to Matt, Jacky, Robyn and all her families who had loved her and shared life with her.

  9. Kim you have always been more like family to me as we grew up together with our mothers being best friends. There was never a dull moment with you around. Kim, you will be missed by many but there are so many memories to be cherished.
My thoughts are with all your family and friends xx

  14. Hey amazing and wonderful lady,

Thank you so much for the change in the world you’ve propagated. I feel privileged to have known you from all those years back in BI Delivery. You made a mark from the time we met, and then our shared love for food… and through where our culture meet (Dutch – Indo). You totally never stopped inspiring me. You continue to urge us all to look at our lives differently. Not taking things for granted, but also urging the courage to speak up about the awkward things in life. I am so, very grateful, for you. Much love, Kim… and rest in peace. Thank you so much for being you.

Wishing your family much strengths and love in this time of loss.

  15. Dear Cousin Kim, you will be missed by us all.

Your flame burned bright, now you return to the light, with the lessons of life.
May your next life bring you to us all again.

  16. You were so courageous, so brave and so incredibly inspirational. I’m really sad that we will never be able to have that ramen I owe you, but I’m really happy that you’re in a better place away from the pain you were experiencing.

    Rest in peace Kim

  17. Dear Kim,

You have always done things your own till the very end. You have been so strong willed, it’s probably the reason you defied the odds and lived much longer than the doctors thought you would. We take comfort in the fact you and Matt were able to live and enjoy many great memorable moments together. Matt what an amazing husband you have been. You were by Kim’s side the whole time and we commend you for the love you have shown. In time you will start living your life again. Kim would want you to do that. We take great comfort in the fact Kim lived the last years to the full and her way. We will miss you Kimmy. Jacky you only ever wanted what was best for Kim it’s just sad Kim didn’t understand that…… love the Wibrow family XXXXX Conny, Phil, Bianca, Bridget and Chelsea

  18. My dear Kim Kim,

Your thoughtfulness, your courage and your lovely smiles will be remembered. And also your silky shiny hair and your radiant skin… An empty space you have left in our heart, but all the good memories you left behind will stay with us and inspire us to treasure everyday- the gift of life.
