Lovely service and tribute to a full life
Always remember water skiing and we would go over sea weed and someone would yell shark. The water skier would pull them selves along the rope and back into the boat. Great times
Ken, Donna, Jay Stubbs
A wonderful service for a wonderful man. I didn’t know Len for that long but I will never forget the laughs and fun we had together and others.
The farm will never be the same again.
Great memories for a great man.
Love to you all. From Macca and the Macca clan.
Fond memories of Uncle Len at the Bundoora Park Children’s Farm with Major, and at the old Homewood School with his poddy calves. With love from Rosie & Erica Moffat and family. xxx
We have gather here at home in Mackay Qld, with family and friends to be part of Lens farewell. Shane and Laura, Sally and Hula, friends John, Joan and Valda in attendance.
40 years ago, I tried for 4 days to ask Len for Anne’s hand in marriage.
It wasn’t due to me being scared to ask (which I probably was)
Len must have sensed that something was up and conveniently disappeared the first 3 evenings.
He must have said yes.
When I think of my Father In-law, I think rabbits in the back yard, Blairgowrie, the old fishing boat, fishing trips on Port Phillip bay, Sandy Point, Deep frying flathead fillets in the back yard, farming at Katamatite and of course many trips to Sugarloaf with all the grand kids and families and friends, And a fantastic trip to Cape York, fishing and crabbing.
Len was always there to lend a hand and never said no when asked for help.
What a wonderful Role model he has been.
I could not have been more blessed to have married Anne and have Len and his family in our lives.
Such a beautiful service Len would be so proud of his Family. You are All in our thoughts.
RIP Len,
Love Maree & Graham Burns (née Davis)
From Adelaide
