I worked with Les for many years and kept in contact after we went separate professional ways. I enjoyed his company immensely and we spent much time catching up for a cuppa and laughing about times past. I can see him now on the other side organising the host into workshops. Vale Les.
Les was a very respected colleague when I was at Digital. He helped me in many tricky spots. Good memories,
Dear Merilyn and family,
A lovely celebration of Les’ life, he was a lovely man, I really enjoyed working with Les at CMC in Adelaide, and we kept in touch after he moved to Melbourne. It was lovely to catch up with Les during a trip to Melbourne in July last year, he had been really unwell but still had his cheeky sense of humour. RIP Les, you will be missed.
Love and condolences to you Merilyn and the family,
Irma
Sending love and condolences to you all.
So good to hear details of Les’s achievements. His laughter is certainly a very strong memory of ours.
How beautiful to bring his whole family together to celebrate his life.
He would have been so proud and delighted.

Many thanks for arranging the video transmission.
(It was not appropriate to watch it on the evening – your morning – of the transmission as Gill’s daughter was here then but after receiving the link we have been able to watch it this evening.)
It was amazing to hear all the tributes and memories and to share in the remembrance of this complex person. Thank you. Chris
Thank you so much for the streaming of the service as it has allowed me a formal occasion to reflect on Les, how important he was to me as a friend, and to learn more about him.
Les and I worked together in the 90’s and he, to me, was a shining light in the preponderance of suits and traditional ideas. Les was based in Melbourne, me in Sydney but he found out that I had started following the Buddhist Teachings and so we chatted away, finding both divergence and convergence of our views. Of course, Les’s wicked sense of humour shone forth and, over the years, we have shared many laughs and buddhist writings, some written by Les. I admired Les as a principled man, something rare in the world of business and it was a delight to work with him and be his friend.
My wishes go to Les’s family at this sad time and I thank you again for this opportunity to share in the memories of a remarkable man.

That was a fine farewell to a many facetted interesting man.
You will be missed Les. But oh what memories!
Sending love to all his family.

Dear Merilyn and Family, a beautiful celebration of Les’s life, you were able to bring him back to life for a while with your wonderful memories and your obvious love for him. As my tears flow and he rests in peace, he will be forever in our hearts, with all our love, Bob and Liz xx
Les was a great guy. We will miss him. Gavin and Janette

A lovely service for Les. It brought back lots of memories for me too.

I am online as my hip hurts a lot today and it works better for me than live attendance. All the best. You have on letter in unit in door.
