Dear Stan, you and Lois were such an important part of our settling in to Burwood. You were both always quick to chat, to ask after our children and to enjoy a joke. We have missed you both over the last year. I am sure that while your memories of wonderful times with Lois will sustain you, there will times where your deep sense of loss will creep up on you. Know that you are always in our prayers. With much love, Megan & Richard
Dear Stan and Family,
Thank you for providing this online opportunity to participate in the service of thanksgiving for Lois.
It has been a privilege to know her and to have experienced her generous and caring attention. She has always been very interested and caring about our family over the 25 years we have been at BUC.
Please accept my deepest sympathy for the passing of Lois. May the feet of God walk with you, giving you strength and comfort.
with love,
Glenys Borland (Angus was able to attend in person)
It was a real privilege to be able to be part of Lois’ funeral by using the live stream. She was certainly a very special person who touched the lives of many people. It was great to be able to hear all the more lighted stories even though I could not be physically present and to see her committed into the presence of our God. Stan, my thoughts and prayers have been with you over a long period of time.
Thanks and God bless everyone involved.
A most sensitive and loving final journey for Lois. So many wonderful memories presented by Stan and the family………a life well lived and loved by all who knew her.
Dearest Stan
It was so special to share your Farewell Service to Lois on line today. What a beautiful celebration of a beautiful life lived to the full by your beloved Lois. May you find comfort in the weeks and months ahead as you let Lois go, journeying on into life after earthly life in the loving arms of our Lord in the company of all those who have gone before. Be strong and know you are loved and held close in my thoughts and prayers. With fond love, Ruth Nicholls
Such precious and special memories of a much loved Wife, Sister, Mother and Grandmother. It was great to have attended via the video link. With love, Joan & Jonathan Addison
