It was a privilege to have known Lois as a friend and work colleague. I loved having Lois work with me at Duri Public School. She loved gardening and developed a frog pond and environmental area at the school. She was fantastic with the kids in the classroom and on excursions. Always practical and organised. Always caring and supportive. We had a lot of fun together. A life well-lived, Lois.

Dear David, Stacey, Gavin and Dale and families,
I am sorry I couldn’t be at the service – Lois was amazing. I remember her wise and keen words of wisdom on a number of those famed canoe camps. She was indeed an amazing camp cook. I have deep and fond memories. My condolences to you all
warm regards
Paul
Dear David, Gavin, Stacey , Dale and families,
What an amazing person Lois was. There are so many memories we treasure about her. Reflecting back on canoe camps, we see an amazingly gifted lady. After canoeing 25 kms down a river, and all day providing snacks and lunches for all the campers, Lois would then organise the cooking of tea for 36 canoeists on a sandbar somewhere! In all this Lois still had time to give a listening ear to a struggling camper or a word of counsel. We praise God for all the memories of Lois, and the special lady she was. We look forward to that reunion when we meet again on that heavenly golden shore. Thank you Lois, and our condolences to the family. We are sorry we couldn’t get down to Victoria for the service.
